Back in the room and calling it a night. I would like to get up early and get back down to mid Strip before the girls are up.

The lack of sleep is getting to me. LOL.

Got some early sunrise shots this morning starting around 5:20ish am and then around 6:00am.















Almost done pulling myself together. Almost 3 weeks into this road trip, I'm starting to look like the Walking Dead. And my roots are showing.

Going to walk mid-Strip for some Buffalo Diamond trifecta at Aria, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan. V said he'll catch up with me in a bit. I imagine The Cousins will sleep in today. I am definitely getting some coffee somewhere!!!

Good luck out there! Glad you're getting some serious solo gambling time. My head is always on a swivel with kids, even grown ones so I always love some solo outings.

The Steakhouse looks great, and I love that they open at 4 for us oldies East Coasters. Can you eat small bites at the bar? I'd love to pop in for a quick drink.

 

Made it to Aria...my least favorite Buffalo Diamond machine, but I'm giving them all a shot.

I'm sure you could pop in to the bar at The Steakhouse. To be honest, I don't even remember seeing where the bar was located. LOL.

Thanks for the picture from the Cosmo as you come down the escalator. That is one of my "welcome to Vegas" moments.

 

yeah I’m still not sure. Yelp reviews mention a bar but I don’t see any pictures. I will investigate if I reach that territory

 

The Henry is great for breakfast. Next time I order the French toast I’ll ask for just one piece. The full order would feed a family of four!

Arthur's Theme is playing though, so it's all good.

Do any of the places in Eataly offer breakfast? I was going to head that way. The french toast shots are pushing me towards Cosmo.

 

I’m 98% sure I saw your husband crossing the bridge to the City Center this morning. I didn’t want to alarm him and say “hey V!”

 

How the hell does one get down by $200 on .75 cent bets by 9:30 in the morning???

Maybe time to add some Baileys to that coffee or better yet switch to a Bloody Mary

 

I miss the moving walkways that Bellagio had that ran parallel to Cosmopolitan. I always enjoyed riding them and looking at the 8th Wonder of the World...Cosmo built around the Jockey Club.


You would never know this once contained people movers.

The Cousins are all still being sleeping beauties, and I needed a drink so I could lick my Buffalo Diamond wounds.

Decided to branch out and go try Flights at the Miracle Mile Shops. Mind you we haven't walked these halls since it was the Desert Passage or whatever Aladdin called their shops. We've seen lots of posts and YouTube videos of this restaurant. You basically order drinks and food as a "flight".





We started with the brunch happy hour flights for $10.


Mimosas for E. You get an Orange, Strawberry, and Peach. I hate anything peach, so I asked for two orange ones.

Bloody Mary Flight for V. Regular, Spicy, and a Beer one.
