I understand it's vegas, and smoke is inevitable. Just wondering if anyone has been to Venetian/Palazzo since the pandemic hit and, if so, has an opinion on which is more smokey between the two.

I have always found Palazzo less smoky than venetian because of the higher ceilings, but Venetian is far from the worst on the Strip in terms of cleaner air. The good news is that if you are a tables player, right now both casinos prohibit smoking at tables. I'm hoping that continues when the pandemic is finished

Palazzo is much better. As far as the Ventian goes, if you avoid the area outside of Grand Lux, where the Wonka slots are, you'll be fine. Sadly, that area would even make a chimney cough.
