I guess I'm more used to it.

When I worked in the hospital and had to go into an isolation unit, I had to "green up" and that included a mask.

I went this June and last October.

Having been there when it was much more locked down, trust me, when it comes to affecting your Vegas experience, being forced to wear a mask was way down on the list of things that made Vegas not feel like Vegas last October.

I don't think it's "just you". I was there in June when things were looking optimistic for the pandemic. I was downtown the entire trip. Casino employees all wore masks, and about 10% or less of the guests did. The souvenier kiosks and shops were all selling blinged out Vegas masks and I saw some people wearing those. I was fully vaxxed, so I didn't wear one. The people wearing masks didn't seem to be having any less fun than anyone else. I'm not sure that I would've gone if I'd had to wear one full time though.

I disliked wearing one at the airport...it was a brutally hot morning and the mask made it uncomfortable, I took it off at the terminal to drink water and then put it back on the airplane

If I wanted to go to Vegas and there was a mask mandate, I'd go to Vegas. We travelled throughout 2020 and into this year. Plenty of places to go, things to see and do, many activities, where masks aren't required, as well. It's a rebounding pandemic so we have no problem behaving as per local mandates if that's a locale we want to visit.

I am Bond. Bond am I.

Would I go to Vegas with a mask?
Would I like Vegas with or without?

I would like to gamble here or there.
    I would like Vegas anywhere.
I also like green eggs and steak.
    I do like them, Bond-I-Am.

Would I like them in a suite?
Would I like them with a shark?

    I like Vegas anytime.

Yes, I would still go if I have to wear a mask.

I've been traveling quite a bit this year and last. I've worn masks at every place I've been indoors or around a crowd of people. It hasn't been the idea choice, but it's better than sitting in my living room for the rest of eternity. :) I'm not that bothered by the extra precautions like hand washing and masks.

I have some health issues that cause immunity concerns. My doctors are all suggesting that I should avoid indoor crowds, even with the masks, and that's what I'm trying to do right now. That means no trips to Vegas on the horizon for me. I did go to an Oregon Casino, but tried to avoid the busy evening times in the casino. I guess that's where I'll scratch my gambling itch for now.

I found that experimenting with a bunch of different masks was helpful. I have a nice little collection of cloth masks that are comfortable for me. I think wearing the right mask makes a big difference. My favorite cloth masks have that little pocket I can put the KN95 filters in for an extra layer of protection when I have to be in a crowded area.

I've got a trip coming up in less than two weeks. If I have to mask up due to new mandates (even though I'm fully vaxxed), it won't bother me. I've gotten used to it over the last year and a half or so. What would bother me more than masks is if they bring back those plexiglass dividers. That would put a damper on my fun more than anything.

My oldest son turned 21 back in January. We spoke about it in June 2020 and decided if mask mandates are lifted we would plan a trip for May 2021. I want my son to have the FULL Vegas experience without a mask mandate in place.

I do not feel I can enjoy myself while wearing a mask in Vegas.

At this point in time we are planning for May 2022 trip with my son as he is used up all his vaca days for this year and is unable to join us in Sep (we usually go to Vegas in May or Sep/Oct for better weather).

Note: I went to Foxwoods the day they re-opened, Mohegan, Parx, Wind Creek, and AC (Borgata, Ocean, Hard Rock, Resorts) NUMEROUS (at least 15-20 times) since re-opening and all of these places required masks. None of these places are Vegas - but I did NOT enjoy myself as much as in times past while wearing a mask. The unavailability of beverages while playing didn't help - that is NOT to say wife and I didn't drink but not quite the same experience while wearing masks.

Also would like to mention I am fully vaxed and have no problem - AT ALL - wearing a mask when/where required.

Stopped wearing my mask and my hand sanitizing routine and caught a cold. I think I'll mask up for at least some of the time when I'm there in two weeks. It didn't bother me too much when it was actually mandated.

    ^^This.

In the last two months I have flown more then I have in the past 5 years. With the washable cloth masks that I had bought last year, it was very stifling and uncomfortable for me. I switched to disposable paper masks while flying, and it's a world of difference. With the cloth masks I think the more you sweat (and just breathing), they tend to get wet which makes it hard to breathe through. The paper ones though don't soak up your sweat or the humidity of your breath, and remain consistent the entire time. I also think if you wash the cloth ones too much they kind of get pilled or burred on the inside and that can cause the stifling feeling too.

So for the long haul, like the airport and the flight I'll do paper, and then if I have to wear one for transportation or to pop into a store I'll grab a cloth one and throw that on for a few minutes. Those are just my experiences and what I do now while traveling.

I know that I can decide not to go places where a mask is required, but I also know that I want to enjoy vacations this year and not put them off any longer. If a location requires masks, I will wear a mask.

I had fun on the trips we have taken since this all started and I will have fun on the trips we are going to take, masks or no masks.

Canceled 3 Vegas trips during 2020 due to Vegas either being closed down or significantly curtailed, etc. It was very disappointing (bordering on depressing) each time I had to cancel. We both got vaccinated as soon as we could and enjoyed our "mandated-mask" Vegas in April. Yes..... there's no denying that a mask-free-Vegas is much more enjoyable than a mandated-mask Vegas. But a mandated-mask Vegas is way, way much better than being denied a Vegas trip due to Vegas going Dark. So while we were looking forward to enjoying a mask-free Vegas next week, we are of the mindset that we will be wearing masks while indoors, mandated or not, due to recent surge of Covid cases. A member posted earlier what's more aggravating than wearing a mask are messing with the table limits and to that I'll add the ridiculous VP pay-tables on the Strip. If by chance I find myself getting frustrated with mask-wearing I'll only need to reflect back on the "lost" year of 2020 and then raise my adult beverage with a sense of gratitude. Viva Las Vegas! And, to anyone that's vaccinated and thinking about canceling their trip because of a mask-mandate.... remember tomorrow is promised to no one.

I don't mind wearing a mask at all. It hides my wrinkles.

I worry about what comes with a mask mandate and after that. Events getting cancelled. Reduced capacity. Restaurants with reduced hours. Live music going away. I'll take what I can get now. I can always book another trip later.

There's a reason Sonya is The Queen.

Experimenting with different mask styles of different materials was a key for me in mask comfort.

I live in the Phoenix area. It's HOT! I'm fully vaccinated. But I still wear a mask anywhere I go and it doesn't bother me.

When I went to Vegas last August, masks were mandatory. No problem.

When we were in Vegas at the beginning of this month, masks were not mandatory for the fully vaccinated. The odds that everyone not wearing a mask was vaccinated are currently the worst odds in Vegas.

And I admit I slipped a bit and did not have a mask on every single time I left the room. But most of the time, I still wore one. The main reasons I still wear a mask are that it's not at all a big deal to me. It's a form of caring for my fellow human beings and such a miniscule thing to do during a pandemic. And my daughter is 7 years old and cannot get vaccinated yet, so she is always wearing a mask and I am wearing one in support of her having to wear one.

And since we were having to wear masks, I decided to have fun with it! I have a selection of different colored Kangol hats I wear, and a mask to match each color. I got my daughter lots of fun, cool masks she likes(Gravity Falls, Jack Skellington, cute animals, etc.). Most of the masks have a nose clip, or you can put a nose clip in them, and have filter pockets. They are also frequently washed and hold up well. I know there are people out there who have one mask and have never washed it. No wonder they hate wearing it!

Here's just a few of mine:

    PXL_20210722_015203666.NIGHT.jpg
Flamingo and Paris gave me those logo masks. Line It Up is from Brian Christopher. And how can you not have fun in Vegas wearing a Bob Stupak's Vegas World mask!

Try different styles and materials. Have a selection of masks. Get some cool, fun designs.

I'll also add that as the Delta variant and COVID stats climb again in Vegas, I wouldn't go without being fully-vaccinated and wearing a mask every time I leave the room. And I am and I can. And it doesn't cramp my style or fun or activities.

I went once last year and twice this year during the mask mandates inside casinos and still enjoyed it. What I don't like about the masks is how they can detract from random social interactions. Seeing people smile and being able to talk and understand each other is important to me. But I am willing to mask up again if required even though I am fully vaccinated.

My fear is they start cancelling shows, events, and have capacity limits again like last summer. Remember when all the bars were closed!? Crazy. I understand why they do these things but I think we will continue to have these spikes and drops until next year. Maybe the silver lining will be less crowds although it's bad for the economy.
