Fair warning, Cromwell got rid of the 100x odds on craps, single 0 roulette, and most of if not all of the 3-2 blackjack. They might still have 3-2 in high limit but don’t quote me on that. Believe the double deck game is gone as well. Going off of memory from when I was there a week ago just remembered to post this now.

Not surprised. They’re trying to squeeze out every bit of profit they can right now.

It sucks for those of us who are savvy, but if people are willing to play shitty games, why offer good ones?

Cromwell was my favorite place to settle up to the 3:2 DD BJ. It was gone when I was there in April, or rather, it was $50, but @44inarow and I asked them to lower it to $25 and they did.

The remainder of the time I walked in it was all 6:5 and the DD disappeared so in essence, this bullshit has been going on for months. Just terrible, I’m done gambling there after it was 75% if not more of where I played for years.

I was there July 4th and 2 weeks before that. 3-2 DD is available @ $100 min inside. But 100x craps and single 0 roulette are all gone :(
It was my favourite location to stay for a while due to their suites. But it's really gone to shit now. They removed ALL table games near the strip entrance.
Found a dealer I liked at Cromwell move to RW too lmao

Really disappointing. Had been one of my favorite places to gamble the last few years - and my wife's clear favorite gambling spot. But we won't be spending any time - or money - there if this is true.

It was just a nice getaway from the huge casinos on the strip

I had a quick one night stay there mid-June and chatted extensively with dealers, some that I’ve come to know, and they all seem to be as pissed as we are. They said they are losing good customers and their tips are suffering. Several even implored me to write to management or talk to my host (but I don’t have one with CET) in order to increase the sound of the cage rattling.

    So sad.

The removal of all table games near the entrance is sad, I loved being able to pop in and immediately sit down near the Eatwell and play. Between the removal of the DD, 3:2 anywhere for green chip players and now, from what I understand, all of the tables are in the back near their "sports book"/bank, I'm done.

One of the dealers told me if you play big enough you can have your host request 100x odds for you. Not sure if that’s true but figure you’d have to be a big player to get that

It was the one CET place other than Paris I thought I could like,
I've been so conditioned to the crappy 2x odds everywhere else, I can't even figure 3/4/5, how the hell you do that w $25 mins.
I never got to explore the possibility of fun with those 100x odds..
    prob never will.

Craps dealers were pretty fun and cool, though not exactly 100% on top of payouts if not watched.

    Oh well.
    is what it is

this stuff was gone when it reopened. Same with the good quarter VP

This was never going to last. The hotel is a club. They want to bilk the people waiting for Drais. I loved it as a player, but it never really made sense to offer these games there.

I thought they ripped out only a part. When I was there in June, the tables went all the way up in the front still. Unless something has changed very recently, they kept the ones on the main walkway and got rid of the pit that was on the Eatwell side.

I'm referring to what was notated above. I haven't been since April, and I hope I'm wrong, but the post above from auux states they're all gone, so I defer to them.

Used to be a great place to take a break from some of the larger casinos and play great games w/ great CW service.

    this is a shame

When I heard on twitter John Mehaffey I posted about how I would visit Cromwell at least once on every single trip to Vegas because of the great gambling odds and low limits. I haven't spent a any money or set foot in the place in my two trips this year and don't see any reason why I will in the future! :(
