I received a mail from Caesars regarding unused 2020 benefits, which are extended through January 31, 2022 due to COVID-19.

Does that mean I can use both 2020 - and 2021 Celebration Dinner in the same trip? Or does there have to be a certain time in between?

Thank you in advance for your answer!

    Keeping fingers crossed...

Yes, used both at Old Homestead earlier in the year. I think it's a YMMV situation though if the waiters/waitresses will allow one to use both at the same time as I heard some people had issues with this before.

Maybe you can NOT use two at one time. But - smart servers figured out they could split the check and do it that way? Just a wild a$$ guess on my part.

Same here, Bacchanal asked if I wanted to use both although I chose to use just one.

Thank you very much, all, that is very good news!

BTW: I didn't mean to use both for one dinner, but to use both within one trip, for two seperate meals. And that should be ok then too, yes?

Did not realize those carried over. Our last trip was Feb 2020 and we did use one $100 credit there (wife and I are both Diamond) - can't remember which one but I think it was mine. That would mean we have 3 to use on our upcoming September trip - and friends we travel with probably have 4 as I don't think they used any in 2020.

FYI: The mail came from Caesars Rewards and was send on 17 june 2021 with the following subject:

"Don't Forget To Use Your Extended Benefits Before They're Gone!"

Complicating things for me, as a caesars windsor player my diamond celebration benefit for 2021 is extended through 2023 and they have a local offer for me to convert that into 10000 reward credits (since windsor wont have much in dining options). But I don't think i have that conversion option for the 2020 dinner and as it is presented as a windsor offer now, i dont know if the 10k auto replaced the dining benefit and i have to claim it, or if i can just go to vegas and use both dining vouchers.

    I am definitely confused here.

I made Diamond in 2020. It was extended to 2022.

    I redeemed a celebration dinner in 2020.

    Do I get another one?

I have blocked CET emails so I did not get one.

Yes. This is actually old information when the status got extended due to the shutdown. Some people are now getting reminder emails since Vegas is "100%" reopened.

If you made Diamond for the first time during 2020, then you should get two:
    • One to use before Feb 1, 2021. Which you apparently used in 2020. What date did you use it?
    • One to use between Feb 1, 2021 - Jan 31, 2022.
The place where the dinner extensions really came into play was for people who earned Diamond during 2019.
A dinner earned during 2019 would normally expire on Jan 31, 2021, but they extended it to Jan 31, 2022.

I had to actually pull up trip reports here because time is confusing to me.

    I made Diamond in 2019.

Did NOT make it in 2020 because I am an idiot who thought "Oh I'll get the 200 or so points left needed to make Diamond when I move to Flamingo" without realizing I was checking into Flamingo on January 1.

I used the Diamond celebration dinner in October 2020.

If you first made Diamond during 2019, then:
    • You got one to use by Jan 31, 2020. It appears that one expired unused. They didn't extend that one because everything was still open in Jan 2020.
    • You got another one to use between Feb 1, 2020, and Jan 31, 2021. That one got extended to Jan 2022, but you ended up using it in October 2020. They didn't "reload" that benefit, all they did was extend the expiration date.
