Oh, yah, no. Regular uber place for the commercial terminals is on the east side of the airport and exponentially farther from the strip. JSX parks in a private hangar on the west edge of the airport on Haven Drive, and four seasons drive is the nearest cross street. It's literally two blocks east of the strip between Mandalay Bay and the welcome to Las Vegas sign on the south end. You never go through the regular airport terminals on JSX because they operate as a private charter. That's part of the appeal of it. No TSA lines, no baggage claim etc. Their planes only have 30 or fewer seats and they just set your bags outside on the ground at the bottom of the stairs when you land and you grab em on your way in their hangar, then you're immediately at the parking lot ready to go.

Finally finished now after a # of stop and goes. Although you initially had flight issues, you had a great trip with @luck.ofthe.draw and sounds like you did well on the slots. Will get to reading @luck.ofthe.draw 's report to read the female version as i always do lol.

yeah JSX is incredible, makes you never want to fly commercial again,
some drivers aren't that familiar with it.
After a few flights, I think the move, unless you have a limo waiting,
is to set up your rideshare on landing, you'll be outside in 15 minutes.
It's pretty funny watching a super stretch limo try to take that corner,
I believe our latest driver did it in 3 points, had one maybe did 7.
by not coming out of McCarran, you'd be amazed at how fast you can get to the hotel.

For any interested parties, this is at the Aurora lounge facing the hotel checkin desk, and was daily at least mid week according to the signage.

Little bit of a wrap up:

I got an email today from American Airlines customer relations apologizing for cancelling my flight and informing me they submitted a refund request on my behalf. According to their web site, a refund was issued yesterday (not in my account yet but that's normal for it to take a few days to clear). I had emailed customer relations informing them I'd filed a complaint with FDOT and sharing how unacceptable I thought their entire ordeal was. That was their response.

Definitely have 3 favorite parts of my trip:
1 - getting to spend time with @luck.ofthe.draw - ok, that one is obvious. Time with her is the best time. It doesnt matter what we do, but it's even better when we have adventures and food and drinks and gambling in Vegas

2- meeting the legendary @FormallyTD in person. He's a walking good time, and I hope we meet again. I was flattered to get the invite. Wish we could have hung out longer but I think we didnt even meet up until about midnight.

3 - our 3 hour drinks and dinner with @Flowers, @eliza, NY friend, and @luck.ofthe.draw - food was great, entertainment and company were spectacular. That's the second time I've met with @Flowers at Wynn for drinks and bites, and they are two of my favorite Vegas memories. If you're ever lucky enough to get the invite, re-arrange your schedule if you have to, and accept! Wynn marketing should probably be paying her too, for introducing others to how wonderful a place it is. :D

In spite of almost everything going wrong with flights and rooms, this was one of the best times I've ever had in Vegas. I also gambled more than I ever have before in terms of coin-in, and I lost some money, but I brought home about 10 or 15% of the cash I brought with me, which was a little less than normal in the first place. I figured between the Cosmo pyramid game, identity play, mlife offer, mykonami, and point play, I cashed over $1500 worth of free play, which explains it. That was a nice boost to the ole bankroll!

Oh well, can't wait to go back. I might have booked another trip today, who knows?

Thanks for following along and thanks for all the support with all the negativity at the beginning there. I really hate that the first however many pages of this were just me freaking out about not getting there. I did miss out on a day with a super cute girl, but she stayed an extra day in Vegas, so it worked out.

    See y'all next time!

That was a fun time and the pleasure was all mine.

Really glad it could work out and I'm certain our paths will cross again.

Look forward to checking out this report when I get back home.

What a wonderful view and I enjoyed the video so much. I am going to share it with my 93 year old, Vegas loving mom. Thank You for posting with such detail of all the games and winnings. You are so lucky to be able to stay at Co$mo. The room is gorgeous and the balcony is next level.

I did in fact, today, get back all the money I paid, and the small trip credit I had applied was refunded Sunday. Go figure, I booked more American flights today and yesterday, but I used miles this time so if they cancel it whoopty do, I'll just get the miles back lol. What I will never get back is the day of vacation I missed and the $500 extra it cost me to buy a Delta ticket at the last second, but whatever; it's in the past. Hakuna Matata! I had a great time

I pretty much always have another Vegas trip booked sir. But yah, I'm booked for labor day weekend tentatively, and it was for that I booked new flights. Just not sure yet if I can make it, still logistics to work out with job and pets and girlfriend that will be the determining factor. Also I'm booked at Harrah's and like, suck it Caesar, you know? I have other options but planning to branch out and low roll if I do go, so that's a place where I dont care what happens with ratings and I can play at Wynn, V/P, check out Resorts World, and if all else fails, they're right next door to Casino Royale lol. But as it gets closer, if I do go, I may opt for Cosmo, Wynn, or MLife, but I have a lot of really expensive stuff planned for October/November/December so I cant do my normal "let's blow $1500-2000 a day in Vegas and live like a rock star" if I do make it that weekend. Still very up in the air lol. Just cant decide if I wanna go somewhere with real low expectations and risk still being disappointed, just pay for somewhere else, or just dont go lol

And we do appreciate MCann staying in the "peasant" and "low class" hotel, known as the Excalibur!!! Hey it's free, so no problem being one of the "peasants" for a day, right?;)

If I go for labor day, it will be arguably my most peasant trip ever, and that will intentionally be a theme lol. I even have an economy ticket for 1 or 2 of my 5 flight legs lol

It doesn't, but the American Airlines flight from Charlotte to Vegas damn sure does. I got economy on the outbound trip because my elite status gives me free 1st class upgrade from home to Charlotte, and allowed me to book what you Southwest people call "first class" at no additional charge for the longer leg (plus free checked bag). I.e. I have a reserved exit row aisle seat, and am on the 500 mile upgrade first class list, as well as quality for so-called "main cabin extra" upgrade free if not sold out. So my worst case for that flight is exit row aisle seat and free checked bag, and best case, first class upgrade. I wasnt willing to shell out real money for now, after my last experience, and with a room booked at Harrah's. I may just opt out of that trip before it happens. I did buy first class return with AAdvantage miles though lol
