Yeah. I'm still processing this trip and needing to write more about it. In addition to these entertainers, we also saw O at Bellagio, Dave Chappelle and Friends, etc. And of course stargazing at Death Valley.

It was truly a bucket list trip.

I’m sorry! I’m crying again. How utterly beautiful. My Mom is one of those stars up above.

That photo of you and your mom. My God, that is beautiful and choked me right up. I am so glad you got to do this with her. Gambling or no, you won on this trip and in life with a mother/daughter relationship like that.

You have not just the BEST vegas trips but the BEST trip reports! I was actually in vegas over some of the same days as you but I was across the street at the Venetian. My favorite pictures believe it or not, we’re of the encore bathroom! For reasons people won’t want to hear I’m a bathroom expert, been to most of them at one time or another on the strip but not this one( especially since it’s a woman’s one lol). I have even thought about doing a TR just on bathrooms in vegas, would that be weird?? Also loved the picture of the security dog at the Venetian, I actually talked to a security guy for a little bit and asked if it was ok to take a picture of the dog (we recently adopted a rescue German Shepard) and he gave a very fast NO, NOT ALLOWED!! Thought that was funny! Thanks very much for another awesome TR. PS, hope that picture of the dog WAS on THIS trip report not someone else’s, I’ve been following along buts it’s been off and on for a few days..

I think we need a best and worst bathroom thread. It would be very interesting.
Also, thanks to @Flowers for the fabulous bathroom pics. ❤️

Hello this is slot tech support, "Have you tried cursing at the machine, sir? Try it again, louder, and possibly more profanely. Also try to be more creative, that should help. Let me elevate this to my drinking supervisor."

I have stood up in the casino and started screaming, screaming, "Help! Help!" This was at Borgata in AC. It was because my machine wasn't paying. Actually, it wouldn't spit out my $100 TITO and being 5:00am there wasn't a soul going by me for at least 15 minutes. I had had enough and my screaming brought a security guard to me within 60 seconds and he promised to send over a slot attendant tout de suite...which he did and all ended happily.

So funny that I asked the guard if I could take a pic of the dog and he not only said "yes" but he positioned the dog for a pose. :)

I love bathrooms and restrooms -- or at least elegant or different ones -- too. I have lots of pics of different restrooms, from Wynncore of course to Circa. I'd be game for adding in my bathroom/restroom pics if you started a thread! I think it says a lot about a property to the extent it invest in a space that folks well, use for a particular reason and given that they are, usually, a quick in and out. LOL.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes for my mom. I passed them along! She is knocked out as I'm typing away in the dark and catching up on VMB. (Working remotely from Buffalo for the week, which is great.)

I also wanted to give a shout out to whatever VMB couple said hello to my mom last week while she was playing WOF. That was so nice of you!

I'm glad I wasn't picking my nose or something LOL as while I was playing VP at Encore about a week ago "Todd and Lisa" (not sure of their VMB screen names) guessed that I was Flowers -- they probably saw me do weird things in front of the UX machine LOL -- and stopped to say hello. We had a nice chat. It was great to meet you both!

Another quick note I wanted to share before I dose off.

Purely by accident, I GOT A GLIMPSE OF THE SKY CASINO IN ENCORE!!!!! It's on the 63rd floor and can only be accessed via the Encore Tower Suites elevator and even then if you hit the elevator button for the 63rd floor, it won't light up. You need a special key to tap the elevator to enter that floor. I forgot the minimum number but I believe you need a $250k to $500k LOC to even have access.

Anywho, on one of the days I was hustling and distracted, I got on the elevator to go down to the lobby from my room but when I got on I forgot to hit the Lobby button, which to me always looks partially lit anyway as if there would be no need to press it to head to the lobby. I was checking my work and personal phones and forgot to hit and it TOOK ME TO THE 63rd floor (!!!), apparently because someone on the floor had called the elevator to go down thinking that NO ONE would be on it when the door opened. The door opened right to the casino as opposed to a hallway that would take you there. I am just bummed that I was standing to the side in the elevator as opposed to the middle where I would have seen more.

I got a few-seconds look and what I remember was seeing daylight and very colorful and decadent fabric in greens and blues and gold, like the deep colors you would see in a peacock.

The person who entered the elevator from the Sky Casino had on a black uniform and was either a dealer or security or maybe some specialized host as he hit the button to go down to I think the 59th floor, maybe to pick up a player.

I was a bit mortified but the guy was cool and smiled. I explained what happened and said some tech or security person should probably check that out so it doesn't happen again but I guess the odds of that precise scenario happening again -- someone like me getting on the elevator and not hitting a button to go some place at the same time someone in the Sky Casino has called for an elevator -- would be pretty rare.

If anyone has played in or seen the Sky Casino I would love to know more about how it looks!

That's interesting, there's a super secret casino. I wonder if the slots pay out better there. :kill:

Do other resorts have super secret casinos too? hmmmm...

I don't know if there are slots, but if there were, that probably would be the part where
the guy extends an arm, says, "oh no, it was no accident", welcomes @Flowers in, and says,
    "We've been waiting for you."

I wouldn't say they are secrets. They are just not well known. And yes, a few other casinos have them

It's not so much secret if you are a heavy player at Wynncore but it is the most secluded casino I've heard of in Vegas. Some very HL rooms or casinos you could at least see but this one I -- even as a member of the Chairman's Club -- am not permitted to enter. It's funny though. I don't care nearly as much about what the gaming action looks like as I do the decor and architecture of the casino. The views must be BRILLIANT.
