Wicked Spoon - Brunch only?

Hi all,

I was looking to make a reservation for the Wicked Spoon one night for me and my coworkers during Blackhat or DefCon, but noticed that:

1) It's walks in only now
2) Only open for brunch/lunch?

I did some quick googling (real quick) but could not find anything mentioning if they have plans (or not) to reopen for dinner. Anyone know?

Interesting, hadn't heard Wicked Spoon dropped reservations.
They haven't had dinner since they reopened. My guess is their current schedule keeps them from needing to hire another shift of employees.

For dinner buffets on the strip right now you have Wynn, Caesars Bacchanal or Circus Circus.

 

Circus Circus buffet it is! One of the girls coming with us has never been to Vegas before and asked me if she'd get to see all of Vegas while we're there (NOPE you'll be working 10 hours a day but good luck!), I think the Circus Circus buffet will be a real eye opener!

 

R U serious?!?!?! I've eaten at Circus Circus . . . . IMHO, it is "life sustaining minus". I'd rather wait an hour for Bacchanal or Wynn.

 

It was sarcasm haha. I wouldn't actually subject anyone to that buffet. I'll see if they want to do GR Burger. She's a vegetarian (or Vegan?) and I know they have some stuff.

 

Not to derail but Bellagio Buffet is back in a few days. When are you planning on going?

Also, I haven't heard anything different on Wicked Spoon than what is listed on their website, which yes, it is breakfast, lunch, or brunch only. And only walk-ins https://www.cosmopolitanlasvegas.com/restaurants/wicked-spoon

 

Good to know, Bellagio Buffet might be a good solution. We're there for Blackhat and DefCon, August 3rd - August 8th.

 

I thought the Wynn buffet has a lot of vegan options because Wynn himself is vegan. They’re taking reservations but you do have to wait a little bit in line. Still better than no reservations.

 

Looks like Bellagio Buffet is also only going to be breakfast/brunch.

Are you intent on having a dinner buffet? Try booking Bacchanal Buffet. Or roam further north and give Wynn a shot?

 

Yeah, trying to do at least one nice meal as a group with them. Bacchanal might be the answer, not sure on how lines will be. Wynn could work, but walking distance from PH would be the best.

 

The Bacchanal reviews I've read in other threads mentioned a wait even with reservations, especially at earlier times. Not sure if that's improved.
If you haven't made reservations there already it may be too late.

Not sure how big your group will be, but I'd make a reservation somewhere asap, you can always cancel.
We'll be in town that week and already made reservations a week ago.

 

Yeah I can't find any open reservations for Bacchanal. Oh well, the buffet dream might be dead.

There will be 3 of us total, we'll probably end up wherever will take us the nights of.

 

Just curious, was the Wicked Spoon wait times pretty long? Has anyone been there recently to give their experience on this?
