Thanks, I was thinking of doing that so this probably just confined me.

If you are Gold, Platinum or above in tier, the buffet (the best in AC...fantastic prime rib) is only $12.50 in comp dollars for you and a guest. Great deal.
Borgata does not have crab legs on their buffet though they have a definitely upscale version of interesting dishes. I've had soft shell crabs there on several occasions. If you are in need of crab legs, Harrah's buffet has them. Harrah's buffet is also quite good and comes in at #2 in my ranking. I think the food is better at Borgata but if you're like my friend and just gets plate after plate of crabs legs, then Harrah's is for you; about $40, no price break.

I was curious about that, I read the Borgata amphora lounge was at the buffet. Wasn't clear on whether it had the same food.

Borgata temporarily moved the Amphora lounge to the buffet, but recently re-opened the lounge in the original downstairs location.

The Amphora Lounge has a very abridged buffet, sometimes the same food, sometimes a different wonderful dish included, always the same prime rib. They do provide a full open bar along with food which for some is the no-brainer. They have a very nice upper shelf level of alcohol. I don't drink that much once off the floor so I like to go to the buffet more.

It's weird. After the update to real MLife, now I can no longer access my Borgata MLife account. It tells me to call a phone number that has no human beings and no options related to the Borgata.

Well, I got through to a human at the Borgata and it turns out that they changed their policy concerning self-exclusion from online gambling and I am now banned from all MLife properties in person as well. The last time I self-excluded from online gambling, they still let me visit in person. That's a shame. I liked the property, but if they don't want me there, well, there are other fish in the ocean.

In this case, I'll be switching my play to the Hard Rock, because they still like me and their casino is nicer. Their restaurants are better too. And they have more shows. And they have a beach. And they have an amusement pier with rides. And they have live rock bands on the casino floor.

Nice article about the new American Bar & Grill at Borgata that replaces Wolfgang Puck's American Grill. The Executive Chef stayed on and offers up similar cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. Here is the menu

How would you recommend getting to Harrah's from Borgata. We're taking a four night trip at the end of July.

I'd cab or Uber/Lyft. Also, be aware that Harrah's is not currently operating their buffet.

you can also take the route #6 Jitney between Borgata, Harrah's, and Golden Nugget.

Here is a recent walk through video of Borgata

    Easiest... taxi or Uber ($13+tip)
    Cheapest... jitney ($4.50 for two)
Walk...only if you're in the mood for the walk. Like LV, the size of the resorts makes them appear much closer than they really are. Most direct...exit the surface parking by the booth and stay on the street. The field gets huge mud areas.

Not sure what it looked like before, but the physical space looked very nice. Lot's of wood stacked up around, and felt very open.

The wood serves as a prop for the wood fired pizza oven. I guess they don’t have goat cheese and fig pizza.

Borgata runs a shuttle to the beach in adjacent Brigantine. Beach towels are provided, but chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. The beach is located in front of Laguna Bar and Grill. Gold, Platinum and Noir members can charge food and beverages to their rooms. Here the details: https://borgata.mgmresorts.com/en/amenities/borgata-beach-shuttle.html

I've never set foot into Borgata but I'm seeing $400 FP in my mLife account on the mobile app.. but the app also says $0 Borgata slot dollars.
Does anyone have any experience with this? I'll be in Philly next weekend and wondering if that's real freeplay and whether it's worth driving down.

I'd verify before you go all that way. I see $531.42 for Borgata under FP which doesn't seem right and is an odd amount.
