Right???? Good lord, despite getting a lot of stuff done on Sunday and Monday to get ahead of the game and have time to chill and have some deck beers, it was not meant to be. Today was brutal. I am just sitting down now for the first time since lunch which began 11 hours ago.

My shuttle is arriving bright and early and it is almost bedtime already. Bedtime tomorrow may be just a fraction later in the evening methinks. I mean, if that is okay with all of you? I give you my word that I will not just be getting to bed as many of you are getting up for work.

Right now it is JR time as I am not gonna see her for a couple days. Let's connect again tomorrow shall we?

Keep checking on the status of Zion.

Zion National Park, Springdale and the Cable Mountain Lodge experienced flash flooding and there is a lot of damage and they are on modified operations. There are some crazy videos of the flooding and damage to roads and flooded cars, etc.

Macker is at home doing what his wife tells him to do.

He also can't do a two week quarantine. But I suspect he will be back at the video poker machines at some point this year.

We are LIVE from a very dull and the still largely empty International terminal in Calgary. The shuttle we were coming to the airport in started lurching and chugging a bit. The driver made a stop and said he was gonna try and fix it. I thought..."Sure you are dude". Well sure as heck he grabbed some of those things called "tools" and we were running smoothly in no time. I thought for sure I was gonna have to hire a cab.

Plane is still 1:45 from departure for Denver and then another two hour wait until we depart Denver for Vegas. By the time I get to Vegas I could have driven 2/3 of the way there had I started from my house at 7:30 am this morning. I originally had a nice little direct 2.5 hour Westjet flight only a couple months ago....

    EFFF UUUUUUUU COVID.

Thought you dragged him with you. I'll be at Resort World and Row 802 at Aria. Maybe hit the VP later in the week.

Yes. I posted in the Getting There thread. That is all the info I have but it seems pretty positive.

So while this trip is off to a bit of a clunky start, I did catch a small win.

When the nice lady at the United counter asked if I would be comfortable in the exit row window seat to Denver, I politely informed her I would be comfortable with the all Exit Seat responsibilities.

I do intend to get to RW at some point this weekend. It looks a bit too nice for me but they could use a little Gaggles in that joint if I do say so myself.

Our International board is still pretty light despite loosening restrictions. That’s it! 1.2 million in the city and that’s it!
