    Hey there!

This weekend is my second trip to Vegas, first with my girlfriend. We are 26 and 23. We are planning to gamble, maybe hang by the pool, and just drink and relax. Not too familiar with the hotels here. I noticed Planet Hollywood, the LINQ, and Flamingo were all the same price. It looks like Flamingo/The LINQ have a slightly better location, but would it be worth it to stay at PH for the room, which appears to be larger? I've also heard about some elevator problems at the LINQ.

    Thanks!

PH is nicest, Flamingo is rowdiest and best casino in my opinion, Linq elevators suck and I’d avoid at all costs.

Flamingo is going to have the best pool of them all. I’d avoid the Linq.

PH would be my choice of those three.

The PH room is larger and nicer than the other two, but the pool at Flamingo is better.

Location is fine for all of them. Also if you will have a rental, parking is free in PH self parking as they share it with the miracle mile.

To get a sense of difference, I recommend looking for recent youtube video walkthroughs of the room. Other than a bit more space, the main difference you will get in a PH is a more spacious bathroom with separate tower and soaking tub.

PH would be the best of those 3 options hands down. They will have the largest/best standard rooms of all 3 of your options. I'm not sure why people dislike their pool so much on here, its perfectly fine. DJ during the day, large sunbathing area, 2 pools/jacuzzis, and the surfing/wave pool thing.

That will be changing soon. They put up the gates earlier this month and the spot monitoring/counting system.

    My feedback is as follows:

Flamingo: Rooms are a tad dated unless you get the "Flamingo room"...their pool is more of a party pool however they have 2 sections---a chill AF section and a cluster fuck section. Never did care for their casino, was always sorta meh on it.

LINQ: Rooms are shoeboxes. Casino though is lively AF---for mid-tier casinos, I think it has the best vibe. Good food choices too.

PH- Best rooms in regards to size. Love the shops on the bottom floor---lots of great places to eat, drink on the cheap, and of course, the ABC store (best place to buy alcohol and soft drinks on the strip IMO)----never liked their casino, a maze...a dark maze. Fiance and I stayed there a few summers ago and although we loved our room, we thought the pools were lacking in size---seemed like we were all on top of each other.

Literally, walking from PH to LINQ is a 15 min walk, max---dont let location be an issue. If it were me, Id probably go w PH is pool wasnt that big of a deal to you however Id walk over to LINQ and hang out there to gamble. Another reason I like PH, its right across from Cosmo and Ive always had good luck there but just as important, superb cocktail service while playing.

Because you said "hang by the pool" you only have one choice - Flamingo. The other pools at the other two properties are sad in my opinion. Flamingo is one of the best.

Parking is free for the guest of CET properties.

Look at pool videos online also.
You get a much nicer bathroom with a shower and separate tub at PH if you are into tubs.

With just two people I wouldn't focus just on room size as much as other amenities. (pool differences, bathroom/tub, potentially more hall noise at Flamingo)

Flamingo would be my recommendation with the pool being the deciding factor. PH is nice as well, but as mentioned above, the casino is kind of a dark maze (and I have never seen it that lively). Avoid the LINQ rooms.

Echoing what others have said. Best room would be PH. Best pool would be Flamingo. Worst of both would be LINQ.

I would rank them in the following order:

    1. Planet Ho. The undisputed nicest of the three for rooms.
    2. Flamingo.
    3. Linq. Mainly due to lingering elevator reports, which would be worse if they are still limiting capacity.

As noted multiple times above, avoid the Linq rooms but do make your way over there at some point to have a Frozen Bailey's at O'Shea's. Whether you stay at P-Ho or Flamingo, you can cut through the Flamingo to the Promenade and go into the Linq from the side doors. Have fun!

PH also has an abundance of low cost food options that is to the mall.

The pool is not as bad as people make it out to be. Mostly it's just boring - a rectangle in the ground lacking in the bells and whistles that other places have (like Flamingo).

That's not necessarily a bad thing, depending on what you're looking for. If you're looking to just relax and catch some sun? Well it certainly checks those boxes. And the atmosphere is a little more subdued - which can be nicer for some.

All PH rooms also come with a mini fridge, which is clutch. Just be sure to avoid rooms next to the elevators if you're light sleepers.

Flamingo has the best pool of the 3. I also love their casino and you can't beat the location. Linq has small rooms and short-pours their drinks (their standard is now .75 ounces instead of a normal 1.5 oz pour) so I usually just walk through it now. Flamingo has updated rooms and if you get the right kind they come with a fridge. I've never stayed at PH but heard their pool is mostly concrete where as the Flamingo Go Pool has music and lots of trees and waterfalls.

Between those 3, I'd pick Flamingo but Planet Hollywood would be a close second.

Location wise, I don't think any of your options will struggle. They are all very well located but if I had to really split hairs, I'd probably pick Flamingo on location.

Not even going to throw Linq in the mix. It's an OK place but that's it. There's no feature there which you could identify as being exceptional.

Planet Hollywood is not only the nicest but is also home to Earl of Sandwich for cheap eats. It is also a short walk to Cosmo across the street.

Of the 3, I would go with Flamingo. The pool is much better than the others. With that said, I think you might enjoy the Linq vibe more for gambling but that's no problem as it is right next door to Flamingo. PH is the worst location of those 3 but that's my opinion based on preferring that Harrah's/Linq/Flamingo/Cromwell area.

Are you allowed to use the Caesars pool with a PH key card? If so I'd choose PH out of the 3 for the younger casino crowd and the nicer bathrooms

Flamingo, The LINQ, PH in that order (never stayed at The LINQ or PH but prefer the over-all vibe of LINQ over PH). Some of the Flamingo rooms have been refreshed as well as a good portion of the gaming floor. Hanging by the pool? Then for sure Flamingo with much to see/ people watch ;).
