    My Trip Report

We made our first trip back to biloxi in 2 years . We make the 7 hour drive from central Florida . A little about us . We spend most of our casino time playing .25 vp with other games sprinkled in . We are extreme low rollers compared to most on this board . Usually 2-3 thousand a day . That’s good enough for free rooms on weeknights at the beau and IP . However , the IP stops offers after one year of not visiting . So , this trip was at the beau .
We did online check in ahead of time and made our arrival time between noon and one . We arrived at 12:10 and the room was ready . Walked up to the desk , they handed us the keys , and we were on our way . Literally that easy . Dropped off bags in the room and headed to the Casino . We started at the bar at the sports book . Played 8-5 job for a few hours . Bartender was great . Giving me a new drink just as my last was getting empty. That was my experience most of the trip . Great bartenders . We left the bar down a little . Next , we thew a little money in the wheel of fortune Machine . Spinning the wheel has been our guilty pleasure for the 17 years we’ve done Casino trips . We then played some haywire slot to use my $50 free play . Played that for a half hour and walked away with $45. We then Jumped on the casino hopper and went to the IP. We had a 5 pm dinner reservation at Tien for their hibachi . Brenda is a great cook and we always leave full and happy . Salad with ginger dressing , filet mignon, shrimp , fried rice , vegetable was all delicious. Our plan was to try to get back on the Ip’s radar to get get offers again . We play at all the bars . We had the best run at the bar upstairs . I must have played for close to 2 hours and walked away up $80. Sadly , I gave most of it back playing the three play video poker downstairs . We ended our gambling there playing the electronic roulette . We always have a lot of fun playing our numbers and spreading around our bets . We played roulette for about an hour and lost $20. We went to leave the IP about 1 am and quickly realized the days of grabbing a cab are over . So , we attempted to get an Uber which took 30 minutes . Not convenient , but got us back and went to bed . Day 2 started with my morning
Tradition of heading to the bar and having a little baileys before breakfast . I was down 25 on video poker when I hit quads . Ended up even by the time my wife showed up for breakfast . We just went for the roasted bean . Coffee , pastries are always good . They were this time , but the service was very slow and unorganized. We were not in a rush so we could care less . But understandingly there were upset people . Afterwards , we floated around the casino playing a little . I figured out how to make a few sports bets for later . We then took the hopper over to the nugget . We played enough to get a few free drinks and then went to the palace . Dinner was at the palace buffet . Not the fanciest or the biggest , but everything was good . Plenty of good food . That night , we started back at the bar watching the games I bet on . Ended up wining one and losing one . I had been very disciplined this trip sticking to Job. I usually get bored and star dabbling in bonus games chasing quads . This was the first time I switched over all day to double bonus and hit 4 aces for $200 on the third hand . About 20 minutes later I cashed out with a $250 ticket after starting with $100. We then went over to wheel of fortune and had a great run . We must of played for an hour and got to spin 6-8 times. The wheel hit for 300 and 500 quarters instead of just the generic 35-50. Had a blast and eventually walked away with $450. We ended the night at the center bar . The Royal was close to $1,400 . We both played for a few hours , but it wasn’t to be . Still , walked away ahead . We went to bed at 2 am . In the morning , we has breakfast at the terrace buffet . Had to use my $25 food coupon and express comps . No complaints, solid breakfast . My reflections were that the Beau was packed and seemed to be back to normal . The IP was much emptier than pre-pandemic and their table limits were higher too . Was glad to get back to biloxi and hope the Casinos show us some love and we can get back there late fall

Thanks for the report. We love the Beau. In Tahoe now and would kill for a roasted bean, way better than Starbucks.

Great report with lots of info I just file away until we can get there. Love reading Biloxi reports, so anxious to get there for the first time. We had our first Biloxi caesars charter trip scheduled for May 2020 but was cancelled due to covid. Hoping we get another offer once the border's open and Canada gets rid of covid tests for returning to Canada...on a 3 night charter we'd need to be tested as soon as we arrive!

Thanks for sharing your trip report. I was there last month. I always enjoy my junkets to the Beau. It’s a seven hour drive for me as well. I prefer to fly. Hope you both enjoy some great comp offers in your future.

Thanks for your report! I'm going for a few days in August and can't wait. I play VP, some slots and blackjack. Did you happen to notice minimums, 3/2, hit 17, etc?
    Cheers

It sounds like you had fun and did a lot of stuff. You even had some financial success. Beau Rivage & IP are two of the four properties that are in my regular rotation. Like you, I enjoy both of them. Hope you can make it back in the fall.
