FYI...for a new sign-up, you have to wait seven days from the date of sign-up to use the birthday $$ for food and there is no free play in your birthday month for a new sign-up. For each, my wife's birthday is June 20 and she had not previously been a Wynn player. She signed up today and said there was a very long line.

I am checking in to Wynn on Monday afternoon and will be doing the match to my existing Wynn Rewards card to my mLife Platinum right after I check in. June is my birthday month, so I am hoping that there is a very outside chance that the $150 Birthday Dining Credit could be loaded on the card in time to use Tuesday night. I am there for work, so dinner can be expensed so it isn't a huge deal, but I might have some nicer Bourbon or wine if I can offset it with the dining credit. Fingers crossed, I'll report back!

Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm a 7* with CET, SFO based, Lake Tahoe home casino.

I flip between CP and the Cromwell in Vegas, depending upon the occasion, but have done 2 or 3 stays at the Wynn over the last 4 or 5 years (pre-Covid) and due to slot play, got assigned a host, even tho I never even made Platinum. I've always received the 3 night offers/$750FP for years now, but it's been hard to abandon the 7*.

This promotion may actually do it.

I'm flying down the night of 6/28 (Cromwell stay), matching on 6/29 right before I check into the Tower Suites, and have confirmed with my Wynn host that the birthday dinner and spa credit will be automatically loaded onto my shiny new black tier card. The birthday free play won't apply this year, as it's based on theo, for which they have no info. As noted previously here, full benefits will also apply in 2022.

Looking forward to the Tower Suites and a nice day in a cabana as well. I've also booked a spa afternoon, dinner at SW one night, and Muzumi the next!

I am wondering if the spa credit has a 5-7 day wait like the birthday benefit? We arrive on a Thurs, wanted to match ASAP and use for wife and I's spa day on that Saturday

My guess is no hard and fast rule but you have play history there. Do you have a host? That's something he/she could help do but I'd definitely match as soon as you arrive and just say you are staying the hotel on a comped offer and hope the match will be processed soon as you'd like to use the spa credit a couple of days later. When is your check out day? That's probably most relevant for purposes of the credit actually be applied.

I think my wife was assigned a host but we never dealt with her. In any case, we might (read: probably will) return in November for another stay, for my November birthday month, as well as maybe the 11/5 Lionel Richie show. So if we cannot use it this trip, there's always November !!

I just got back from Vegas and also tier matched from MGM Gold and CET Diamond to Wynn Platinum. It is my birthday month and when I asked about the $150 dining credit and if I could use it at Allegros that evening I was told no, I don't automatically get that and it was based on play. I very much enjoyed my dinner at Allegros and decided not to spend my money gambling there since I do not go to Vegas often and there are no Wynn Casinos near me.

This is starting to become an existential question. To be or not to be? That is the question. Bday in Sept, never played Wynncore, matched to Platinum. Do I wait till Sept and see if I can do the spa and dining credit before playing them? Or will that not be possible by then? Maybe we’ll be “dead” to each other in the end.

That’s disappointing to hear. Nowhere in the perks of each level does it say the bday gift is based on play, the free play is, but that makes more sense.

I read through the T&C’s, and I didn’t see anything about the spa and birthday dinner credits being based on play… there may be a delay between signing up and the credit hitting the account, but otherwise I think the Wynn Rewards employee who said the dinner credit is based on play was mistaken :hmmm:

I’m 1000% sure without reading the terms and conditions there’s verbiage about things being subject to change.

Anyone find out what happens if your birthday already happened this year? Matched status is only for this year.

EDIT: My card expiration and online says 12/31/2021. BUT the terms say
Maybe it’s just a matter of renewing my card and I actually get two birthday dining credits since it hasn’t happened yet this year. Or not.

They always reserve the right to do anything they want. :)
Will be curious if anyone else corroborates any play requirement.
I think most have said the matching isn't immediate.

    A bajillion dollars!!!!!!! :faint:

I don't think any specific number is particularly useful. You either can cover it or are nowhere near that level. Black is $30,000 theoretical loss (aka 10x that in coin-in with slots). You can guess from there. My estimate is somewhere between Black and 6 figures in theo.

Hundred percent I don't mind you asking but I honestly couldn't tell you. I don't track it, which I know some VMBers may find odd. I DO, however, track my losses and I have a good sense of my theo from the tier credits (and also the comp dollars I earn from a mix of slots and VP). Keeping both of those facts private. ;)
