Nice that you decided to include that, because nobody here can relate.

The key thing is especially fun at 3 am when you aren’t listed as a room occupant so the choice is wait 5 hours or have them call and wake your wife at 3am to get authorization to give you a key.

I did that for the first time last month at Bally’s. Then I did it again a few nights ago when I was in Nashville.

Ok, finishing up at Bacchanal. (Another first... I'd never been, even pre-covid)
    My thoughts

The experience - I wont do this again anytime soon. The checkin, pay, seating was a mob scene. Raising the price the way they did.... irritating, and reinforces my thoughts of Caesars and money grab.

People in line were grumpy. No ones reservations seemed to matter. It instilled a feeling that it was going to unpleasant.

There are lines to get food, but they're not terrible - ice cream has the longest line

Maybe there's an early herd, all hoping to beat the crowd. Now, 7pm, instead of being mobbed, it seems less hectic. Hypothesis: 4pm opening, they fill up. 5 pm guests arrive, but no tables, huge backup. There was no room in the rope lines. (Edit, as I left, 720p, lines to enter were much shorter. Still full, but not a Mob. Based on one experience, weekday, go a little later, don't try to go early, unless it's very first reservation time)

I was seated overlooking a hallway... people kept passing, watching me eat.

    16233766597037095556181799827952.jpg

    The service was minimal, adequate.

All that noted, the food was excellent. Almost everything. I took no pictures.

Many unusual items I enjoyed. Many different ethnic foods. Enjoyed many different pokes, the scallops, a few fish dishes. Some yellow gazpacho. A tomato tartare. Several Asian items.

I dont waste time on buffet crab legs. The lobster claws were small... one was good, one tough. Sushi looked dried out - I passed. Good ceviches, a great jicama slaw.

Kudos that they present shakshuka, quail, Mexican street corn, wagyu beef hot dog from dim sum cart (har gow, shui Mei never made it to my zone). I tried a hamburger bun - open bao style. I like the creativity.

I wasted alot, tended to eat veggies and proteins, left behind a lot of rice and bread items.

Dessert was good, not really better than Wynn or Cosmo.

Worth trying? I guess, but $82 is insulting. Variety is great, but it's almost too much

This tier match visit comes with a celebratory photo upon arrival, and surviving the northbound Deuce ride

I wonder if I could ride one of these back down Strip rather than getting back in Deuce

Curious, can you use the drink tickets at Chandelier towards any cocktail, like a Verbena for example? Or is it strictly well drinks/beer/wine?

You can order any cocktail...some cocktails (not sure the Verbena) require two or even three tix, I think I recall last time the Verbena was only one, but something tells me I am mis-remembering.

    Enjoying this trip report!

I see you converted your vouchers to a large to go drink :D Just a tip, for anyone who has excess drink vouchers and needs to use them before expiration. You can also trade them in for Fiji water at Chandelier or the Sportsbook. I've also gotten a bottled orange juice to take back and save in my fridge to mix with vodka I brought. The vouchers cover just about anything at or under ~$15

I read somewhere that a couple of people combined their tickets and got a nice bottle of wine to take up to the room. Now that sounds like a winner to me. A nice glass of wine while enjoying the fountains from our terrace. I;m really enjoying your report. Thanks for taking the time to write it.

Seated for dinner at Red Plate. So far, all LV dining, most service oriented. Wow, are they considerate of guests wants. Small dining room. Beautiful. Almost French service... I have a captain, a waiter, etc.

So polite, they tried to help me with menu, but I kept interrupting , because I kept seeing more I wanted. I came for seafood, but opted for more unusual. I feel sort of rude, the Captain is so polite .
