It took them a week to take part of the curtain down otherwise, this is exactly what I saw last Monday-Tue...thanks for posting.

Did they put in a new ceiling? Does have the "Caesars" feel to it.

We were at Flamingo yesterday. The game tables are back, just rearranged. They even had some tables at $5. The big change was in the VP area that is close to the poker room. Several machines have been removed...all of the triple play VP, that we’re along the wall, are gone. They have been replaced with single line 5 cent progressive games. You can change the denomination, though. The machines that were on the second level, just to the right of the steps, have all been brought down to the area by the poker room.

Check those machines before you play as it used to be that they had 8/5 DD right next to 6/5 DD.

Hi all, I have reservations for June 29 and June 30, so any update would be greatly appreciated. I like Flamingo, lots of good memories, but I am going to contact my host. Pictures are always good. You know seeing is believing.

Video posted on May 31st, 2021. I don't have any affiliation with them. The front area is shown around the 6 minute mark.

Hi CT77, thanks for the video. Looks like all is put back together. Like I said seeing is believing.

Thanks for sharing. So many memories came back. Glad I booked the room for labor day weekend (comped!)

Has anyone found these triple plays in Flamingo since? My favorites!

Perhaps further remodel? Maybe they're doing it by section or phases?

I wouldn't be surprised if they don't put them back. The multiple play and STP machines are slowly disappearing at many CET locations. We used to love sitting at the Book in Linq but they removed them there so we don't even bother to go anymore. There are two left at one of the Cromwell bars and the bartender said management keeps trying to take them away and the staff have asked repeatably to leave them.

I walked through Flamingo two nights ago. I didn't check for particular machines, but everything looked normal to me. If I hadn't seen this thread I wouldn't have known they had done any renovations.

They should, I think the carpet they had there was so old it had blood from Bugsy Siegel on it.

I heard they are looking for Jimmy Hoffa's body. Someone said he had been buried in a dump !

Not only lack of triple play at the Linq, but try finding any VP at all there. Harrahs still has a nice selection, but the large majority are the specialty games now. You can still play triple play at Flamingo on the All Star machines at 8/5DD rather than the triple plays they used to have which were in the same area with 6/5. Paris still has quite a few TP too. No doubt though, TP is being phased out.

This is a picture of the Flamingo gaming floor I took on June 18 from the top of the steps by the old "Donny and Marie" theatre. I noticed fewer slots along the wall closest to the strip. Overall it has a "cleaner" feel to it.

Old is new. This is similar to the layout from years past. No more diagonal.

My god, this is a massive portion of the gaming floor. I REALLY hope this doesn't get filled with electronic stadium gaming.....
