I wish I would have gotten a better photo last night but the dealer scolded me. I played in the high limit area 200/5000 limits and got killed. So I left and played just outside at a 50/5000 hit soft 17. So not a great game but wanted to change my luck. Tons of people joined the game in and out. Inshoulsnt have played there. After a while a guy shows up and cashes in 5k in 20 dollar bills. I don't thinkninhad ever seen so many. He plays 2 hands at 200 and loses and leaves.

Lounging around at the plum lounge and then heading back to the hard rock in ft Lauderdale. Stopped at the circus museum by ringling in Sarasota and the Edison and Ford house in ft Myers.

Almost forgot, went to Clearwater beach and saw the Hogan Beach Shop and got to hold his NWO belt.

Back at the Hard Rock Hollywood now. It is a madhouse with everyone leaving for the boxing match. Time for me to lounge around and get ready for the week ahead of work.

Worked this morning then took a quick lunch break.....profitable. now back to work. I probably won't play much over the next week as I have a lot of work to do but I'll post photos of the room later today.

Relaxing few days. Still trying to figure out where to go tomorrow. Hard rock has been so so service wise. Some are great but others are well.... one person told me that it doesn't look good to stay at the hotel for so long. And that management may downgrade me as other people need to get a chance. It's so odd. Either they want the action or they don't.

I've got killed at the bubble craps lately and am putting them on hold. All the good luck I had last week is gone. I also noticed that a few months ago there was a roll to win craps tabled near the guitar hotel that has either been moved or removed.

Much better luck at blackjack. I found out by chance that at a certain credit limit they give you better rules like resplit aces and surrender which has been helping my game. One dealer casually mentioned it so I got it on my account. Without that guy I would have never known.

Saw the guitar light show last night. You need to walk to the far end of the lagoon to get the best view. Show is 10 minutes long and ours played various pop songs. Was on at 9 and 930 on a Wednesday night.

Maybe I’m not understanding the concept, but wouldn’t you continually be paying for new clothes when you donate the others? I bet that would be more than $40, too.

They are collecting all the yellow chips here. Must be some kind of fraud happening this afternoon.

I don't know of any Airbnb or rooms at a university that have a casino and can comp your stay, plus if you work hard and can afford the lifestyle a luxe resort provides why stay anywhere else?

Because casino comps are not designed for long term stays. At some point, the House will win. And it seems kind of taking advantage, and just weird, maybe?

I get what Gus and probably others are wondering; great to sell your house while deciding where you'll land next. The typical line of thinking is: let me get an Air Bnb or room at a university for a long/short-term stay while figuring out my gameplan. A hotel, particularly a casino hotel, generates revenue and is designed to kind of be a vacation. Cool for a little while, not several weeks or months on end. But we'll see how this plays out.

Good luck on the upcoming travels!

So I am a traditional cable tv person. The one thing I miss is the DVR and the ability to queue up shows like watching a new judge judy episode. Anyone know of a dvr type service for someone who doesnt have a subscription?

I think I've read about companies that offer an antenna rental type service with DVR but I've never met anyone who has used on.

Bellagio LV had DVR in rooms, just sayin' I don't know of a service like that but there are a lot of subscription services you can get on little USB plugs over internet that have millions of shows on demand like firesticks and roku etc and I did notice my room at Hard Rock Tampa had one of those internet devices attached to the TV but I never tried it because I didnt want to install the phone app to control it.

sling tv, fubo tv, youtube tv.. all have dvr.. but come at a cost.. and work on all mobile devices or laptops
you can "share" most of them up to 4 people and cuts down costs.

or if you have a family or friend who has cable /satellite they can share their password and you can login as them.
