Good point. I normally spend a day in the race book when I go in October but not sure I want to devote that much time to it when the tables are awaiting.

Thanks for the report. Looks like you had fun for not too much outlay.

Last time we stayed at SP we got a similar room. They said there were no others available when I asked to change. It wasn’t bad, we were only there for a few days.
    Thanks again for the report.

Another good trip report. Was interesting to see the ice cream place pics since that was still under construction when i was there in February. As a recent convert to SP, i havent had a chance to try either don vitos or the steak place but your writeups on those two places in your trip reports have me putting both places on the agenda next trip.

Not to hijack this report, but completely agree on Roxanne as a host. Very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The employees all seem pleasant and SP just seems to care a bit more about making patrons happy than comparable casinos but that’s just my read on it.

    Excellent writeup thank you.

Crazy how many entitled travellers there are that pull the "do you know who I am" shenanigans

Thanks for sharing the cool TR! Loved your food reviews, definitely gotta try more food at Southpoint one of these days.

Baja Miguel's is good! They have some tasty options for Thanksgiving as well!

Thanks for taking us along! :)

Did you see Heather ? My favorite cocktail waitress mornings. She always remembers I start with two black coffees and then a Bloody Mary.

Oh, that's right. It sure was a magical year for you guys, with a little help from us here in New York, since we let you borrow Aroldis Chapman for the last few months of that season. Glad he was able to help you guys break the long drought. But it did cost you a nice player by the name of Gleyber Torres.

Don't know Heather. My favorite is Janet but she works the swing shift and I play mostly during the day shift.

Yeah, Torres is good but it was worth him to be able to finally get a WS win. Surprised Chappy is still doing ok given how Madden abused him. Well, ok except for yesterday.

Yep, blew the game in Minnesota. I am actually not even a Yankees fan, so didn't mind seeing that. A big Mets fan actually. We have you guys coming into town starting Monday. Should be a good series. And I just picked up Patrick Wisdom off of waivers for my Fantasy team. Hope he keeps hitting home runs, not against the Mets though next week.:nono:

They have a new host, Cathie Caviglia, who is also so great. Everyone complains about SP lack of mailers after your win big. But their back-end comps are the best.

Can't say enough about South Point. Great pay tables, Outstanding staff. Good food at reasonable prices.

Honestly, I would have him skip a start or two, just to make sure that he is right. But even if he pitches, he probably goes 5 or 6 innings tops, and on a pitch count. But Walker and Stroman have been pretty damn good as well. You have your best shot tonight with Peterson pitching for us. He has been horrible lately. Will Baez play for the Cubs?

Haven't heard yet if Baez will play. He re-hurt his thumb Saturday.
