At Carbone. Only one course in and I am full. I need to summon my inner fat person and order more!

Love all the pictures - especially of the suite and the Pinball Hall of Fame. And of course - the first night's winnings! Keep that rolling!

I know these two items and the parm are what people rave most about (I love the rigatoni also). But I am telling you. Try the lobster ravioli. Its easily the best I have ever eaten aywhere. It has this slight citrus afertaste that is amazing!

Back in the room for the night. Will try and post some more pics before I crash. Finally had a wild gambling session for the past couple hours. Alternated between being up five figures and down over 20k. Finally stopped when I got ahead again. Several reckless bets. I have a five figure theo at this point, so I am not worried about justfying my upfront comps on this trip (frankly, I was never worried about that). By the time I leave, my total comps used will be the neighborhood of $3000 to $3200. And there is also no way my theo is near enough to justify the upfront mansion comp I wrote about a few days ago. But I do suspect I have wagered enough that my MGM host won't notice or change that upcoming comp. So all that means I am not sure how much I will gamble tomorrow. I really need to sleep, would like to do the gym when I wake up, have brunch and dinner reservations, and my spa day. So there may not be a lot of extra time regardless. Anywho, I truly don't know why anyone is still reading this report (lol). It kinda feels like I have reached wash, rinse, repeat mode. But if there ia nything else you all are wanting to see or know about in and around Aria, let me know.

    A couple other random thoughts:
*I walked through Park MGM on my way back from pinball this afternoon. I really liked the look of it and the smoke free air. Enough so that I am wondering if I should go back tomorrow and approach a host. I have no idea what the high end room product look likes there. And between all my other stays at Aria, MGM Grand, and Bellagio, not sure how often I could add another mlife resort to my protfolio. But maybe it can replace Palazzo, lol.

*Tonight I was sitting in the skysuite lounge and saw another guest become enraged and storm out. It was quite the scene. Not entirely sure what happened. Form what parts I could hear through the shouting, I think this guest overstayed his reservation and maybe security started moving him out before corporate tried to step in and extend the guy's stay. Not exactly sure that's what happened. But whomever he was talking to from corporate was clearly trying to help make it right, but the old dude was having none of it! He literally walked away a couple times and kept coming back to shout more and swear off Aria forever. Wow. Take it easy man. Clearly whatever happened really sucked, but its over. They are trying to make it right. If you don't want that, cool, move on. But don't make a public scene out of it.

*My tower of chocolate is growing! Soon I will be bringing the entire patisserie back in my luggage!

As you so wisely advised me, it's probably not worth chasing comps. But, at the same time, you're talking about comps far more beyond I can reasonably imagine.

I think the more important question is, did you have fun generating that theo?

I'm also curious what the BJ games are like at Aria right now. Can you share the min bets you saw? Either on the floor or in the HL room.

I am also curious about the blackjack minimums on the floor. Also, thanks for taking the time to write all this and post all the pictures. It may seem like wash, rinse, repeat to you but to those of us following along it sure isn’t. The pictures of the suite and Carbone were especially pleasing to me as I will be experiencing both on my next trip. Also, having never held anything larger than 1K chips, I really enjoyed your chip porn! Enjoy the spa and please do let us know how it is. I’ll be trying Aria spa for the first time on my next trip!

Two weeks ago, the blackjack minimums on the floor for 3-2 were $25 (early in the day and sometimes at night, $50, and $100. Also, people crowded in 6-5 (?????) tables with same minimums!

Carbone is, IMHO, the best food on the Strip. I would add their tableside Caesar is both a fun experience and delicious. But really can’t go wrong there. Thanks fir the pics and the report!

I haven't paid attention to the BJ minimums, but will do a lap this morning and try to find out. I did notice they have some BJ tables in the baccarat room, which I haven't seen them do as often in recent years. I also noticed a craps table in the back of main high liit room, which I think I have only see twice before ever. I'm guessing a High Roller requested it.

So tired. Didn't sleep enough again and still over full from Carbone. But Bardot brunch is in an hour. So time to steam shower and walk around for a bit to get the juices flowing.

    Gambling addicition?

50k of that is markers I still need to pay back. But up over 40k at the tables. Another reason I should really slow it down today.
