My last trip was a quad drought, esp on my gamblers fallacy "it's got to hit soon" presses to .50,
played thorough (the voice in my head always says " what would @Tarpie / @wasilla do?"
got a no mult DSTP dime royal and maybe 2 DDB 4oaks to cut some of, but not all of the losses.

    VP be like that, sometimes.

Mostly Circa,1 4oak in a quick Plaza hit, felt I could have got more if at 4Q.

The first time it happened to me, I believed statistics like most gamblers.
I knew quads would come average 1 in 500 hands (or something like that).
After 5000 hands with no quads, I believed it's coming. Man, I was wrong, so wrong.
The next 5000 hands still the same, and so on.
It really hurt the bankroll, and made me so frustrated.

When It happened the second time. I better prepared. not chase it so hard.
When it happened the third time, I knew what to do: quit.
There is no turn around, no miracle.
Quit and come back next trip (in my case, next month), everything will be different.
In gambling world, shit things (and those extremely unlikely things) happen, and happen much more often than anyone wants to believe.
If someone claims he played VP his whole life without seeing quads, I would believe it more than any news on TV.

You're so correct... just like I finally learned to walk away from a progressive VP jackpot bank instead of continuing to grind away for hours, even days because "it's due". These RNG's hit just like they're supposed to....randomly. :rolleyes2::drunk:

From November 2020 to April I went on a 176k hand cold streak. 2-3 royal cycles without a $1 royal put a big hit on the bankroll.

The sessions with nary a quad or a 4-to-a-royal are the worst. The losing is bad, but I agree that they're also boring.

La Strada and Roxy's are both great. And I'm a sucker for Top Deck chorizo scrambles for breakfast.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I usually have a set amount of coin-in to achieve per day. Either to hit a daily bonus or to get bonus FP. So I just keep plowing along even when the cards aren't falling my way. I won't say I've never chased losses by increasing my bet, but I can say I regret it every time.

Since this May, we have been to one casino 3 times, stayed at 1 casino for 2 days and visited one for a few hours. Now, I am not going to say that I didn't get any 4oaks. It is just that they were so spaced out that it seemed like they were non-existent. This really dug into our Vegas bankroll. Seems like the casinos are trying to win back their losses from the pandemic! I know that is total BS!! Don't roast me. :(

When I hit a cold, cold streak on Video Poker, I go to a table game, preferably craps, to mix it up and clear my head.
