Took a nap for the second half of the flight and now we're only a few minutes from landing (ahead of schedule too)!

Happy birthday and school celebrations! A full tuition law school scholarship is a lot to celebrate!

Be sure to check out Eataly at Park.

We're checked in (got to check in with an actual person, not one of the infamous ParkMGM kiosks). I'm very happy with the room, we're on the 27th floor, which means we're using the Nomad elevators. The room also has a nice view of the TMobile arena. I'll post some pics of it tomorrow.

It’s a little bit earlier than the time we had agreed on waking up, but I’m up anyway, so I figured this would be a good time to recap last night.
There isn’t much to tell since both of us were exhausted by the time we got to the hotel. For those who look for this sort of info though, we didn’t bother with rideshare at all and went right for a cab. That was absolutely the right choice since there was no line at all and our driver got us to the hotel quickly (and used the airport flat fare as he’s supposed to).
We then checked in, which as I mentioned in a previous post we were able to do with an actual person and not on the kiosk. I didn’t even attempt the kiosk since I saw there was no line to check in with a person.
After that, we got settled in the room (pics soon, they’re on my other device) and just walked around the hotel for a little bit, mainly to keep us awake a little longer.
I have to say the energy last night at Park MGM was fantastic since there had been a hockey game at the arena and as it ended most of the attendees were filtering into the hotel.

Here's a few pics of the view from our room, we're in a standard two queen so the room itself is nothing special but if anybody wants pics I'd be happy to post some 20210524_222509.jpg 20210525_104257.jpg 20210525_104315.jpg

Not much to report so far today.
While getting ready for the day, we discovered that the person who had the room before us had left the safe closed and locked, which made it impossible for us to open it. I called the front desk about the problem and they had someone from security in the room to fix it in less than ten minutes, major props to them for that.
We decided to take the tram to Bellagio and walk from there to Paris for our lunch reservation at Mon Ami Gabi. Lunch was fantastic, I had the shrimp cocktail and a ceasar salad while my friend had the croque monster. I forgot to take pictures of the latter two but did remember the shrimp cocktail.
From there, we slowly started making our way back in the direction of Park MGM since my friend has a zoom meeting at 2:30.
On our way, we walked through PHo (where I think I spotted a crash table with a $5 minimum, but I'm not entirely certain) and the Miracle Mile Shops.
My friend's zoom meeting should last a couple of hours so my plans for that time are to go and get my MLife Card and then go into the casino and play some slots. If anything exciting happens I'll be sure to update. 20210525_120355.jpg

I'll admit I did try a few common combinations (1234, 0000, each number repeated 4 times) none of them worked though so I had to have it opened for me.

Turned $5 into $17.50 on a single machine using the minimum bet with penny denomination. It was just a good combination of line hits (beginner's luck maybe?) here's my best one.
