Looking to hit Vegas this summer, on a weekday trip. Would like to be able to hit a pool, that’s not crazy over crowded but still fun enough

my rates are pretty good for PH, Wynn, Caesar’s, Mirage, and Paris. And also considering downtown spots for Circa.

I just am not sure how the PH pool is, compared to the others.

It is a pool. Nothing really special. It did have a flowrider, which made me feel like I was on a cruise. I don't know if that is still there.

Of all the other hotels you listed, I would put the PH pool beneath them all but Paris. I would rate PH and Paris's pools about the same.

Pretty weak, its a large concrete deck with 2 smallish pools. They do have an outdoor gaming pit in between the two pools if that interests you.

It is one of the worst pools in town, just a concrete jungle on a rooftop.

Wynn, Caesars, and Mirage all have beautiful pools with extensive tropical landscaping and architectural features.

Compared to the others, it's the worst. I think Paris is above it just because of the extra space in the pool. PH is just two small pool areas.

This is PHo's own "beauty shot" of their pool area:

Here is the one for Paris:

I agree with ther posters. Its easily the worst of the hotels the OP listed and maybe my least favorte on the entire Strip (NYNY is its only competitor for the worst crown)

Compared to other strip hotel pools, it's ranked pretty low. But based on the pools we've used around the world in 4-star+ hotels, I like it.

Love it, very easy to get a chair far away from the pool and easy to avoid the loud music

Have to give props to the marketing team, they actually made this pool look pretty nice.

For being such a fun property, the pool is underwhelming. With that said, I don’t feel it’s awful. When you walk in, the pool on the left is the adult pool, and on the right is the children’s pool. There is a ton of space out there, but it seems underutilized as the pools are tiny. Drink prices seem in line with other CET pool pricing. In addition, they might still have this, if it’s your thing.

I mean, it’s a pool. My issue has always been when I wanted to utilize it, it was just stupid packed. I will give it credit though on the people watching aspect, there’s a decent vibe there.

But, like others have already said, there are so many better options.

The two downfalls of the Paris pool: 1) Their water is like 4 feet deep, by far the most shallow of the Vegas pools. 2) The tower casts a shadow on the pool around 2pm everyday. Some would look at this as a bonus for June, July and August, I would not.

Last time I was there, I went for a quick dip in the pool and when I came back to my chair, everything was gone. My towel, t-shirt, phone, earbuds, and room key had all straight up disappeared and I stood there dripping wet with nothing. Turns out the pool attendant had scooped everything up and dumped it into the used towel bin. I just waited around while they trawled through the bin and found a balled-up towel that had all my stuff. Luckily I got everything back (no damage to the phone or earbuds) but I was so incensed that they would do that. Now I don't even feel comfortable leaving anything on my chair while I go for a swim. And I barely even got an apology. They just handed me my stuff and walked away. So... yeah, the PH pool is not good!

PH is pretty terrible. An elevated deck, with most of the free seating on a concrete slab where you can barely see the pools. And the pools are fairly boring rectangles. Also not heated but that is no big deal for summer.

Wynn, Caesars and Mirage are a completely different Stratosphere of pool quality. Paris is better than PH but nothing special.

I was overlooking the pool area from my room at Cosmo... Flowrider definitely not in use.

it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

it's a pool. nothing more, nothing less.

it's not a scene - nobody is going to PH specifically for the pool. nobody who isn't a guest is paying to go to the pool, and certainly nobody is trying to sneak in.

but, ya know, it's a pool.

so it's all on what you're looking for. if you're just looking for a place to take a quick dip, get some sun but also avoid huge crowds and a crush of bros getting down to oooonce ooooonce music? then the PH pool ain't that bad.

if you're looking for any sort of a party pool, then it's not the one for you.

Also, can get free rooms at Bally’s. How is their pool?
