Market St Cafe:
Still limited hours and menu.
Oxtail soup was divine, as was the service.

Dinner Sundsy night. At Redwooed Grill, with 3 other local friends. Excellent all the way around! What a gem. Apps, entrees, and desserts. Bill came to $319 and I took care of the tab. Here are some photos:

 

Yeah. 319$ For 4 people. And about as good as it gets for steak and potatoes and lobster and dessert. A hidden gem. Although people still prefer to dine elsewhere for the 16$ Baked potatoes and 46$ filet (6oz) 59$ (10oz). I like those people. Makes it easier for me to get seated.

 

My ribeye was 22oz, I could not eat it all.
And almost ate all of that cheescake!

Not much to report on Monday.
The gambling Gawds decided to set me down a piece, and I just lost and lost. I ended up with 5 quads for the day, but my daily bankroll remained intact! Whew!

I had breakfast for dinner @ the Cafe. Good thing I was Emerald, cause the line was all the way to Redwood Grill. Oh my!

So far, I have managed over 1,000 tier credits per day, playing mostly $1 VP.

Next up...YAH DAY!

 

Ok, where is that blower noise coming from? Trying to drink my coffee in peace.

One lonely guy in the closed valet, using a blower! So weird. Maybe they are getting ready to open MSS???

 

A good sign? Condiments out on the table!

 

Service was really slow this am. But, I need to remind myself NOT to eat bacon! Had to go up to room and shower and change.

Considering I played mostly $1 VP, I am surprised I have any $$ left! This is not usual for me to play $1 VP this much. The 2 2k hand pay's really helped. I also saved up since Feb, and brought a larger bankroll. (helped that I got a local 2k royal 3 weeks ago too!)

Costs:
SWA Airfare. $98
4 nights @ The Cal. Comped
Camry car rental. $168 36 whopping total miles driven! LOL
(Should have just taken a cab!)
$350 or so food charges, hopefully comped in the am (yes, comped!)

ORIGINAL BANKROLL INTACT!
Coming home with that plus another $1000. Great trip! Just what I needed!
(-500 less cause I did not quit after hitting that $800 above. Grrrr)


Next trip: Halloween week, or 2 weeks late in mid Nov.
