So we usually stay at (a comp'd) Encore resort rooms because we prefer the room layout and design much more than the Wynn resort rooms. We like both casino's for their different vibes. We haven't been to Vegas in 18 months due to the pandemic and have a trip planned for Sept. I'm thinking very seriously of booking a TS room or even a TS suite. My biggest motivating factors are the TS pool and the TS bar which although you have access to as an Encore TS guest, are both located on the Wynn side. As far as I could find, there is an Encore TS lobby but no real bar area over there. I'm feeling like if we stay on the Wynn side, I need to upgrade to an Executive or Salon suite because I'm not fond of the Wynn TS room (same as the Wynn resort room) layout and there doesn't seem to be much cost difference between the two suites to not go with the Parlor Suite. Am I correct that there's no real bar area in the Encore TS lobby area? I'm very familiar with the Wynn and Encore hotels and casinos but not the TS rooms or suites. Are there any other considerations or concerns that I'm missing?

You are correct, there is no real bar in the Tower Suites area. I'm a huge fan of the Encore Tower Suites myself, and started off by staying solely in the Encore Tower Suite King room for a few years up until last Oct when midway through my trip they decided to close Encore all together :(

While this was unfortunate, I got the opportunity to try out the Wynn Tower Suites for the first time, and got a Salon Suite there. That room was incredible, and since that trip in Oct, I've stayed at the regular Wynn Tower Suite King room once, and the Parlor Suite (2x). If I had to choose now, I would pick Wynn Tower Suite, but only if I'm doing Parlor Suite or higher. The Encore rooms are much more spacious for base level rooms, but when it comes to suites, you should consider the Wynn Parlor and up, as the access to the tower suite lobby, bar, pool, Tableau are all great, and you really feel like you're in the heart of all the action. The regular Wynn Tower Suite room isn't bad either, but for the price I always look at sqft & comfort when compared to the regular, larger Encore Tower Suite room. Also to note, the Encore Tower Suites "lobby" is really just a small seating area on one side across the concierge desks, and its pretty much a thru-way for people going in/out. The Wynn Tower Suites lobby actually has a lobby feel to it, and is always lively space.

Thank you VTP for confirming. Your thoughts are exactly what I'm thinking. Did/do you ever use the TS pool area?

@vtp10 is exactly right. Also, I don’t think TS Is worth it unless staying in a Parlor suite and up. The up charge for going from a resort king to a TS king on either side isn’t worth it to me to get the same exact room. You do however, need to factor in the $50 breakfast credit you get with TS Into your cost calculation. When staying in a resort king, I do prefer Encore side.

How bad is the noise from EBC during Night Swim in the Encore Tower Suites with a south strip view? Also, about what floor level is decent as far as avoiding that noise. I noticed on their website that Night Swim goes until 4:00 AM; the only nights it is shut down are Tuesday and Wednesday. Ugh....

@Dean Martin I only stay in the Tower Suites at Wynn and I prefer it over the Tower Suites at Encore due to the true hotel within a hotel feel. The Encore Tower Suites offer great service but compared to the Wynn Tower Suites the feel is more intimate due to having your own lobby/bar, walk right out to the private Tower Suites pool level (huge benefit for my girlfriend). We also love coming down in the morning to have breakfast at Tableau out on the terrace.

Overall the Wynn Tower Suites has a complete boutique hotel within a hotel feeling and amenities versus the Encore Tower Suites. I do believe the Encore Tower Suites have access to the Tower Suites pool level at Wynn, however who wants to walk all the way back to Encore after relaxing by the pool.

From a rooms perspective I agree with the others that if you are to get a Parlor Suite or above at Wynn, they are more enjoyable than the higher end suites at Encore. However that is my opinion and its truly based upon one's own experience.

I stayed at Encore TS two years ago and actually WANTED to have a view of and be able to hear Night Swim. The closest they could get me was 18th floor and I couldn't hear anything.

I'm not much of a pool person in Vegas, but I do try to spend at least one day by the pool each trip. Most of my time during the day in Vegas is usually spent sleeping till brunch, and hitting the Spa afterwards :)

The Tower Suites pool area is good spot to setup at for the day, not too noisy, and great service. You can get a chair no problem Mon-Thurs. anytime, but weekends you might have to get up a little earlier. The cabanas aren't a bad option either in the area for even more quiet/comfort. Just to note, the cost for the cabanas don't include "min. spend" so anything you order- food/drink is extra. I asked for a quote on a Thurs. in early May., and I think it was 500 for standard & 650 for prime (prime is near the pool, while standard is little further back).
