We have a junket offer to fly to Laughlin from TN . We did this once before and the world closed lol.. it was March of last year. Just curious if anyone knows if all the restaurants are open ..what amenities are available. I know the Laurel is closed which sucks, but we literally had almost nowhere to eat last time. Hoping it's better now before we are committed to the trip. Thx !

According to the Harrah’s Laughlin website and my careful reading of all H-L trip reports, all restaurants EXCEPT the buffet (and Diamond/Laurel Lounge, if you count that) are open, including the Range, Beach Cafe, Smashburger, El Burro Borracho, pinup Pizza. It appears the hours vary and everyone recommends reservations for the Range. Don’t forget that the Tropicana Laughlin is now a Total Rewards property so if you have Rewards Credits to utilize, you have two properties in Laughlin to do so.

Adding to my previous post: you may still need to handle the Tropicana Laughlin with a Caesars local card until they are fully integrated into Total Rewards. I don’t know if that’s happened yet. I’d hate to be completely wrong but it’s always possible.

The problem at Harrahs is that the restaurants that are open are open with reduced capacity and limited hours. We encountered waits at the Beach Cafe and had to make reservations at El Burro.

    Staying there this weekend.
I'll give you an update or answer any other questions you may have when I'm there.

Covid restrictions are relaxed more starting this Saturday to max capacity of 80%.
Now if they could only find people willing to work, then the wait times and service would drastically improve.
    YMMV

I’m now obsessed with this thread as I believe our first trip will be to Laughlin sooner rather than later. The Laughlin Entertainer, which is available online, has a listing of all Laughlin casino restaurants and their hours with the disclaimer that it is all subject to change from what’s printed.

I'll send an update sometime today.

May 1st the capacity limits changed, so Harrah's is having a challenge trying to comply with the new restrictions set overnight as of yesterday the first of May.

    Updates coming soon........

Watching this thread too. We might drive down to Laughlin for a day during our Vegas trip in August.

everyone says that Laughlin is slow and laid back, which sounds amazing!

As mentioned earlier the restaurants are all open, not sure if The Range is open mid-week or not.

Still no housekeeping during your stay, just call them on your room phone for whatever you might need.

Lines at all the restaurants are crazy on the weekends. Some places are still understaffed for no one wants to work anymore. So plan on that if you're here on the weekend.

There's a tiny 10 person shuttle van to take you from Harrah's to the Tropicana and back. It leaves Harrah's on the even hours starting at 10am. It also arrives/departs The Tropicana about 10 minutes later.
This is nice if you wanna go off property and the water taxis aren't running.

    *Edit*
Today we rode a big shuttle bus. They must use this when demand is higher.

Laughlin is slow and really laid back. The weekends here are really busy tho.
Just remember, August it's 110° there so be ready for that

One more quick question. And again thanks for the info ! Even tho we stayed at Paris we basically played the entire weekend at Circa even tho we planned to just "check it out" because our games of choice are bar top VP and blackjack. Well it's impossible to have good time while being separated from the person you sleep with by a huge sheet of plexiglass so we won't get cooties.:mad::mad:. Circa also didn't bother us about the face diapers either , but if I have to I can live with that. The plexiglass is a deal breaker. Any word on that or are we to continue on like we just got a 5 minute fighting major :thumbsdown:

    Very few plexiglass dividers.
Some on slots, but mostly at the gaming tables.
Harrah's Laughlin has turned every other machine off when they are in a row. Such as my favorite bank of DDB VP along the walkway between the casino and the non smoking casino side.
VP at the bar has no plexiglass, but again every other unit is disabled.

The mask police were out in full force during my stay, even at the other Laughlin casinos as well.

we were there a couple of weeks ago....mask patrol not really happening. bartenders will tell you to pull your mask up but didn't see security walking around just for that reason
