After Boyd stooped comping me monthly room nights, I was still able to book a couple week nights off the calendar. Is anyone still successfully doing this?

It shows comp on mine but says there is a credit card error if I try to book.

Yes, even if I don't have a mailer, I am able to book up to 4 nights.
Mailer comes along after, staying 3 nights, I still get the 4.

I got that when trying to book an offer but it let me book comp nights without the offer.

I had the credit card error but was told it was because I was trying to book a comp night too far in advance...not sure how true that is as then why would the comp night show in the first place?

This happened to me too, so I called to book. They said that the issue was that I was reserving more nights than I had comped.

I booked my upcoming comped stay at the California on the Boyd's site. I have two nights with the offer being up to three nights.

Well I finally was able to book for November using the "Book Online for Lowest Rate" link on the Bconnected website. I was able to book 5 comp nights. Will they actually allow 5 comp nights at check-in? I thought people have said they only could get 2 nights so I have my doubts. My normal offers are for 3 nights but they only go until Aug so far.

@Catzilla mentioned in a TR they comped 2 extra days at checkin instead of 2.

That is correct, i had 4 nights (2 nights comped back to back) and they made me cancel one if them. So i booked the other two with credit card reward points, but when I checked in they offered to comp all 4. I honestly think it depends on who you get. Also, helps to look needy.

My offer is for 2 free nights. The system was showing me 3 nights at the Orleans all comped but got a credit card error. I called and the agent said it was due to the comped nights being more nights than my offer. Ok, but the system should not show me that many then, right?

I then tried the system to book the same nights at California. They look all comped so I try it again. All 3 nights comped with no issue. Historically I've had higher comp status DT than at the outlying properties but I can't imagine the system knows that. The only play I've given Boyd in the past couple years was one day of about $25k coin in at Suncoast.

I booked The Cal, Oct 30 to Nov 3 (4 nights) using the Lowest Rate link also.
All came up as comped, and I make sure I print it out too!
I could have had the host do it, but she has 'dissed me all ready, so I just did it myself.
    So much for being Emerald!

I just realized my July and August offers have really dropped
    $20 FP
    $10 food
I hope they have a bologna sandwich on the menu!
I am really not sure at this point who they want as a customer.

Hey, at least you are getting comped offers for more than a month or two in the future. I'm only getting comped offers up to June. I tried to check on rooms for September but I would have to pay full price for them. Guess I would need to speak with a host or call reservations to see if I can get the comped rooms 4 months from now.

And yeah, while I was getting 4 nights comped and food/bev for 2021 I only get the 4 night comp but no rfb for 2021.

I originally had 9 days booked from December 28 - January 6 for $370 (4 days were comped).
When I checked today, the rate that was coming up was $100 - still 4 days comped with all other days at $20 each. This my rate based on play, but if you've booked, you may want to check the rates again.

I tried to book online and I also had a "credit card error" come up, but I called and they updated my reservation at $100+tax. There will also be resort fees on any of the $20 nights, but they'll be comped on the back along with the resort fees.

    AyDee..
The "''diss" was getting my VERY FIRST 4K royal, June 28 @ The Cal, and Kayla actually took the picture.
The 1st edition of the Cal News just came out, since before COVID hit. (Winners w/masks on.)
Well, mine was not in there.

So, I playfully emailed Kayla, that I felt "dissed" because my photo was missing.
And she replies she does recall taking the photo.
    I have my copy.
