Glad that I parked at MB the other day. Guess I won't be parking at M properties after June 1.

Oh well, can always park for free at the Tropicana. And Palazzo.

I wonder how they know if someone is local

Last time I used paid MGM parking lots, I just used MLife card at reader entering and leaving. I've seen, never used, the pay machines; I assume they issue tickets. Can locals scan a driver's license to confirm residence?

I like that it keeps some ********* away from the casinos. That said I have never parked at a Las Vegas casino before so has never been a concern.

ID shown to whom? There's not an attended booth. Pay at machines.

I can't speak to every property, but there's usually someone around. The Aria kiosks are right by the outgoing bell desk and taxi stand, for example.

I've only parked Aria when free, pandemic.

Parked Bellagio, Mirage, Mandalay, pre-covid. Never saw a human. Always used my MLife card. Noticed the pay machines at parking - casino entry at Bellagio. Maybe those machines can scan a NV drivers license.....

It's a seller's market and will be for some time now.

They aren't going to get me with this baloney, this time! I am going to rent a car and park it May 31, just to avoid the paying for parking!

They should put a VP machine at the exits. Play 10 hands and earn a free parking ticket!

Luckily they're not trying this messaging nonsense. As @dmr put it, it's a seller's market. I can't truly blame them for trying to charge more if the general public will pay it. They have the analytics to see if it hurts them.

Yes, they learned that the Teeming Millions would pay for it and keep coming back for more!

Maybe I'll retire to Vegas and stand at the exit gates selling access to my Nevada ID for five bucks.

Yes it sucks they are bringing it back!!
But if you stay or play at MLife properties just get their credit car and you get upgraded so you do not have to pay for parking.
