Enjoy Zuma!! Love the themed socks!
Our experience at Momofuku was a very quick lunch because our food (ramen and buns) came soooo quickly after ordering. Sounds like a fluke and they made it right the correct way with that drink and app.

It would ruin my trip to get a checkout notice that soon after checking in! But I don’t even like switching hotels part way through a long trip…

Hope you win it all back and then some! Only takes one giant hit!

The tofu salad was outstanding... as is the cocktail. I'm so not a cocktail guy, but this is second ordered in 6 months, loved both. I should change my attitude

16198337864382621844288909651422.jpg I'm loving sitting and watching the Robato grill

I came here for sashimi, and ordered almost all cooked food.

Cosmo is so tight...I make it a point to see how much $$ people have on their machines when I walk around and totals over $100 are rare. I thought that you actually had to move a machine to adjust a paytable. We have been playing the same bank of VP options for a couple years and cannot quit a winner. May just go the gift card route to continue gold status and enjoy the food rather than the mass destruction.

It might be just me, but I have actually found the slots at Cosmo to be pretty good and I feel like my money goes further in their slots than the other hotels I’ve stayed in the past few years. Then again those other casinos mainly consisted of Wynn and Bellagio so maybe my frame of reference is off...in either case, that good looks awesome and I am really enjoying following along in the quick trip report.

    Zuma summary
Overall, very good. Service to start- excellent. Service throughout... ok. Cold sushi roll arrived with hot entree. Plates cleared within 15 seconds of finishing last bite, waiter appeared 30 seconds later to ask if "that was enough?"... I had my check within 2 minutes of my last bite. So I felt a bit rushed.

Others here in VMB have opined Zuma is excellent but not mind-blowing. I agree
    Cocktail - excellent.
Tofu salad - perhaps best part of meal
    sushi roll - good, unimpressive
Sea bass- excellent, but I feel I could get same thing any asian oriented seafood place
Corn - very good. I'd recommend. But I've been more wowed by Mexican street corn from food truck.

Glad I came here. I might come again, but not a must-return

My updated prioritized Cosmo 3rd floor list

    Scarpetta
    Beauty and Essex
    Blue Ribbon
    Zuma
    Jaleo

    Next visit: STK
    hope Red Plate reopens.

Need to try Momofuku for dinner. Lunch food was great.

Loving the report, agree with your third floor ranking, Scarpetta at the top and Jaleo at the bottom. Nothing bad, but they fall in line. To me STK is somewhere in the middle, I love the atmosphere (and some will disagree) and think the food is solid, but I’m not a huge steak person so it is kind of lost on me. Last time I was there the service was just OK, and if I’m paying steakhouse prices, the service needs to be what puts it over the top.

    Reflections on first 15 hours

Was feeling pretty frustrated with losses, opining tha slots have tightened. But once again, the hypothesis that if one just keeps playing, the longer the play time, the more likely the nearness to expected performance. I recouped over 90% of my losses

Cosmopolitan is busy, but not a total Mob. Well... I left the casino at 1140pm... what's different? Most people still wearing masks, but there is now zero admonishing from Cosmopolitan staff... I think they're done telling people to pull up masks between sips.

There are not enough chairs on the casino floor slot zones. People are no longer shy about sitting adjacent... so they're grabbing any chair and dragging it to wherever they want to play. Result.., a few areas are chair-less.

Haven't eaten at Eggslut in my last 3 visits because of this. Reminds me how useless Platinum status is there; can't skip food lines, can't use Platinum checkin (apparently that's for MARRIOTT platinum... my bad, I thought this was a casino).

This was our experience at both Caesars Palace and Planet Hollywood a couple weeks ago. They still has mask signs up all over the place and mask dispensers, but there were entire groups of people deep in the casino that didnt even have masks, and that goes double for people in line for the line for the pool (not a typo, once it was full they roped off the line and so there was just a mob standing by where the then closed line started, and most of them were drinking and socializing and very few had any visible mask in their possession)
