I’ve lost about half of all my hockey bets. I mostly guess, though for yesterday’s games, I tried using some research based picks. Still lost about half of them. It’s still fun to have bets on the hockey games, but I don’t see myself going over the $5 I put on each game.

Last day blues.... must get gelato at Aria, and play more VP. Never did find a craps game that would work for me, but I can play that at home (closest casino has a decent craps table). Can’t play VP in my state, unfortunately.

EF0744C6-12B8-4E76-BFE2-59855ED775D7.jpeg Well, this is it. I had a good time. Met my goal of a few days of something different. Felt safe, re covid, most of the time. Got to swim.

It was the losingist trip in a dozen trips. Which I guess I was due for.

Anyway, I’ll recap at a real keyboard. No lines at the airport in terminal 1, so I have time for a preflight beer. That seldom happens!

Best of luck to all who are here now!

So, I got picked up at the airport and almost immediately logged onto Chinese class, then had to swap Zoom accounts to lead a class for work! Quickest transition ever back to the "real world".

Trying to organize my thoughts has been tough....I keep thinking of little things every now and then. Here are a few.

I did manage to do a couple of my "never have I ever"s, what with the drink ticket at Chandelier (it took a long time at my rate of play!), watching a whole hockey game (fun! and will do again). Did not manage to play the dark side in craps, at a real table, for reasons stated in my report, and while I would have tried a bubble craps machine, my beloved one at Excalibur has been moved to $5 minimum from $1! They had every other seat closed down. I just couldn't bring myself to play at it for that minimum. I tried one of the personal craps machines, but it just felt too weird.

NoMad was excellent; I really liked that dedicated high levels elevator, since the regular ones for Park had lines at busy times. The top floors elevator bank never did have lines.

I think I got a (very small) back end comp. I checked at the mLife desk to convert my points into whatever it is that one can use against the hotel/room charge bill - express?. Anyway, the number she offered was higher than my points number, so I guess that was my first back end comp? I won't say no to it.

I feel like there's more, but it's not popping up in my head right now. It's been a crappy day - my newish (last August) bike was stolen last night:-(.
