    My Trip Report

    Ummm... Yeah

Not much to say other than this is an extremely needed trip on so many levels. Gonna get a few things for work accomplished and the hit the road. Rental car on the way up (channeling my inner @luck.ofthe.draw !) and good old $15 per way Frontier on the way back. Plans so far:

    - Carmines
    - Din Tai Fung
    - Ellis Island
    - Secret Pizza
    - Maybe Wicked Spoon
    - Mon Ami Gabi
    - Totally using the kitchen set up at Vdara on leftovers
    - South Point
    - Craps and Baccarat at Aria and other random MLife props
    - VMB meet

I’m going to try and keep my machine donations to a minimum and keep it at table games (Wait, how can I not give Split Card a shot again???) Not sure how “live” this will end up, but I’ll try to keep some updates happening. At any rate, LET’S GOOOOOO!

Thank you! Agreed... Turning into more of a “hey, let’s plan out some nice meals” kinda guy. I can neither confirm/nor deny Chipotle will make an appearance though.

I have found a kindred spirit! I am planning meals at Esther’s Kitchen, Prime, and Carbone but most definitely will hit Chipotle when my husband and I split up for one of the days (he goes on a hike and I go to the spa). I’m a high brow/low brow kinda girl!

Miracle Mile shops, order ahead and it’s waiting there for you! Perfect for hotels within that little area. I mean, so I’ve heard... ;)

Oh, I didn’t know there was one there! I usually go to the one near Harrah’s. I actually just heard there is one at the Venetian, too (have yet to confirm) which I thought would be perfect after my Wynn spa day!

You know @Jer, I don't like being the Debbie Downer of the forum. However, I do think you're missing the most important reason for choosing Vdara over other properties:

You save multiple hundies for GNN (Gambling. Nectar, Narcotics) by avoiding all of those fancy restaurants!
20210426_092235.jpg 20210426_092442.jpg 20210426_092640.jpg You stop by Von's, spend $20 on some delicious frozen meals and utilize the state of the art kitchenette.

Now have yourself a fine time & we'll look forward to the report (and the grocery list).

    Be good.

I’m excited too! Google maps says 4 hr 25 minutes so that means very little traffic (as he crosses anything on his body he can cross...)

Dude, this is the truth! Most of the setup will be probably used on breakfast items after I pick up my friend from the airport. I’ve heard instant oatmeal is making the trip on the plane though.

Thanks for the Vdara help along the way... You’re the best, around!

Another tip for the nuke if you have an early flight home - buy a coffee the night before you leave, stick it in the fridge, then reheat it in the nuke on checkout morning.

Made it! Great time other than getting pulled over in Menifee for doing absolutely nothing. He said I was within a car length of the car in front of me in the fast lane. Ummm... Wrong! But I was polite and nice and was let go with a warning. I was sitting there planning my response if he came back writing the ticket.

A little sadness... Some very busy fast food places pre-COVID are now no longer open at state line. And Primm was HOPPING with people getting gas and leaving.

So, room isn’t ready yet according to the online check in. I’m gonna walk around Aria for a bit and check out the sights and limits. Already loving Vdara parking, I’m literally steps away from the lobby! Some food might be in order if I don’t find a table that looks promising.

Not terrible weather, just some clouds and 63 I think the car said when I was getting out.

    Here... We... Go!!!!
