The great part about the free play there is that you earn tier credits and comp dollars from it. You probably got about $4 in comp dollars and just under 200 tier credits, considering what you were playing.

 

@Flowers great taste as usual , I don’t think you can go wrong with either the YSL or Chanel bag. However if you are looking for a more casual bag, the leather quality of the Loewe bags are excellent.

The team at the Loewe shop at Wynn Plaza Shops are wonderful. My girlfriend purchased a leather tote bag in October and her sales associate has been in contact with her ever since about additional options for purchase.

What a wonderful trip ... and you've just started!

 

Now I really want to cry. At Costa di Mare at a table outside on an absolutely perfect night. Love Jack the GM and we had a chance to catch up.

Positive Alert! Costa will be open four days a week -- adding Sundays -- starting on Mother's Day, May 9th. I love Wing Lei but am switching the reservation there to here for that evening. Costa is going to change the reservation for me.

I am not super hungry but I selected the tasting menu, which includes the Lagoustines. I am also doing the wine pairing.

I dined here on New Years Day, and a few hours later won my biggest jackpot ever so maybe it will be a good omen again for the day, if not for the trip. It really is perfect and Jack is the best.

I will be getting a copy of the menu signed by the chef so will post the menu as some VMBers had asked about it. For the tasting menu it says "family style" bbutit can be experienced for one as well.

What a perfect evening and day. I am a little tired but feeling so wonderful and blessed.

 

Just tried octopus for the first time in my life. Was a bit nervous about trying but it was excellent.

In this course the three seafood tastings were of octopus, scallops and a crab dish. Loved the two wines and bread as well. I am pretty aure they said the butter was ricotta cheese and olive oil. I will have to double check.

 

So glad you are doing the tasting menu. Costa is such a phenomenal restaurant and I am happy you chose the tasting menu. Can’t wait to see what you think of the Langoustines! Glad to hear they are opening one more night.

If you get a chance and have any spa appointments this trip can you ask the people working there if they plan to open Encore spa back up during the week as summer approaches and capacity limits increase? After reading Sonya’s post about the Clark County plans for May 1 and beyond it would appear that the steam/sauna and wet areas will be back open at that point. Our next trip we Will be at encore the first two nights but it will be a Tuesday and Wednesday night and I do prefer Encore spa to Wynn spa so I am hoping they are going to open Encore side 7 days a week by the time I get there in June 29.

Caesars/El Dorado sucks. Back in February, I was there for the Forum Shops Shopping Spree. I had $1,000 gift card. I had spent almost $400 at Nike, and my gift card kept declining everywhere else I went. I called the # on the back of the card and it said I had $600~ left. The service agent said card is not working most likely because it was an outdated card from an old batch of gift cards.

I was very confused nonetheless and agent said only the CP gift card giveaway people could help me. But my flight was the following morning and the distribution hours were over for the day already. Whole experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I ended up just throwing away the gift card.

 

I can't remember everything I am eating and drinking but here's the next course and wine pairing and I am seeing the moon, which can almost full. Monday night I will be in Death Valley when it is full.

 

I used my wine app to assess that chardonnay ... 4.2 (out of 5). Anything 4 or more is usually exceptional. Must be good!
