NYNY - 4/24/2021. Gotta show mLife some love . . .

Well, it's close to 24 hours for my next trip. Three nights at New York, New York. It's the trip where I'm going to show mLife and my mLife host a little love.

Things on my trip dining list

Dinner at Gallagher's (NYNY) with local buddy Jason, BFF and a friend of BFFs, I've been dying to try the 16 oz. bone in filet
Dinner at Blue Ribbon (Cosmopolitan) with BFF. I gotta start using up the Cosmopolitan gift cards

Every other meal is open . . . .

All of my FGFs are all working, out of town, or just can't make it, so I will be solo for many meals. Not a problem, saves me money.

I may end up going to Jerry's Nugget for dinner Saturday night, and maybe over to the Palomino afterwards.

All the uncommitted reservations have been canceled.

Gambling choices include:

I have about $1300 in Match Play chips at the D to use up
I have 4 gambling days left to make Platinum at Wynn
I have 722 points to make Gold at Cosmopolitan
I have to show mLife some love, so I'll put in at least enough points to make my comp.
Crazy Rich Asians slot machine. Cosmopolitan has one, and I need to put in some time there. Let's hope that NYNY has one as well.

My thoughts are to wait for Cosmopolitan, since they are on a 365 day rolling calendar, and Wynn is not. The sooner I make Platinum at Wynn, the sooner that I can use the privileges.

A lot of it depends on whether or not I can find Crazy Rich Asians at NYNY.

May take a trip to Laughlin Sunday or Monday. BFF is playing in a slot tournament at Venetian (Palazzo), I'll need to find out his squad times.

Have fun! Why only four days to make the next level at Wynn? I thought it was based on calendar year points?

 

It IS based on calendar year points, but I have four gambling days until the Masterclass that I'm taking. Platinum gets you two Masterclases for two. I could save $300. Yeah, I know, how much could is COST me? Especially since (AFAIK) Wynn doesn't give points for spend . . . . .

I had dinner at Gallagher's for the first time last month. Good stuff for sure. Do not order the giant baked potato unless you have 3 friends to help you eat it. Have fun!

I saw the Crazy Rich Asians slot at Mandalay Bay last week, and knowing that Mlife apparently looks at all casino play rather than just where you're staying, you could always go there.

 

I for one am very much looking forward to the results of your $1,300 matchplay chips at The D!!!

 

Have a fun trip! I'm looking forward to your thoughts on the NYNY rooms. I'm staying in Park Premiere King in two weeks for the first time. I'm making a transition away from CET. I haven't been impressed with the videos I see on Youtube. I'm hopeful after this trip the higher end properties become available to me for comps.

 

Definitely saw crazy rich asians at Excalibur and mandalay, and I'm pretty sure Bellagio and MGM Grand this week, and cant remember for sure about NYNY, Park, or Aria. They did NOT have it at Luxor.
