Are you able to use express comps right at the restaurant, etc? To avoid having to do it at the end? Other than resort credits obviously.

Yes in most cases, and it's cheaper that way because they dont charge tax. If they bill to the room, it includes tax. I billed to room a few times cause I didnt have adequate cash to tip, and one meal their computer wasnt working for EC so that billed to the room also

Well, and plus I had a bunch of RC and you have to bill to room to use that, so I boiled to room until I was sure I was over my credit, then used EC when I had cash enough for tips. But ended up not having cash a few times. D'oh!

Yeah that's true, I did that my last stay at Vdara to comp off some food charges and went to the hosts office. When it was open in HL, they directed me to another office that was.

When I tried to see the host on duty at Luxor about parking, I was directed that the only service available at the same time of day was through the MLife desk, which is like diet host light.

Sadly, seated in 2C on a plane to go to Charlotte, overdressed as usual (saves room in the suitcase, wearing a going-out outfit that, also sadly, didnt get used in Vegas). Almost end of vacation Mimosa time! Yay! But also Booooo!!

Great trip report, with bonus days extended to it! Good gambling comeback on the end, which is always the best way to Vegas.

Maybe we'll cross paths with each other in Vegas over the 4th of July timeframe.

If you stay there again (which sounds more likely than returning to Caesars), you could try calling down to the front desk instead of waiting in line. That used to work for me at the Mirage.

So, I just landed in Charlotte, and on my flight, something happened I thought only happened in the movies. They got on the PA and asked if there is a doctor on board that would be willing to help a passenger in need of medical attention. A few minutes later, any medical professional at all? I hope who ever it is, is okay and that's the most important thing but I thought for sure they were going to divert. At some point they came and got the FA crew's emergency oxygen bottles and carried them to the back. We just landed and they've asked us all to remain seated and keep aisles clear for medical personnel meeting us and boarding the plane to cart off a passenger. I know medical emergencies happen, but apparently they do indeed make public announcements asking for a doctor. I'm not sure if we had one on board or not but looked like 2 or 3 passenger and 2 crew attending to another passenger for the entirety of the flight.

Thanks for the report; that was fun! You had the devils own luck with some of those bonuses and near misses this time around, didn’t you?

I went to Luxor for Christmas 2019, and had almost the same experience as you with those lineups. Never again.*shudder*.

    Nice report! Really enjoyed it.

Yeah, they do ask if a doctor is on board. Story time... on a flight home from Vegas in 2019 pre-pandemic, an older woman walked up the aisle right by my seat and mumbled something to a FA. The FA said something back and looked worried. The older woman shook her head and then sort of dropped to her knees and then momentarily fainted. She regained consciousness almost immediately. Gasps and shock throughout the cabin and all nearby eyes were on her. FA then asked if a doctor was on board. There were 2. The one seated closer to where she fainted attended to her. They managed to get her into the seat next to the doctor for the rest of the flight. They were two rows from me. When we landed we were told to remain seated until medical personnel came and picked her up. The doctor who attended to her during the flight followed her off and so did the woman's husband. She was dehydrated and maybe something else too. Don't remember exactly.

Yes, it does happen. My son who is a doc was on a plane several years ago and the call went out for a doctor. As usual, he looked pretty ratty - baseball cap on backwards, shorts, etc. He went up front at the same time as an R.N. They actually asked for his I.D. LOL. He helped a woman passenger. He loved that he got free drinks the rest of the flight. This was when he was a surgical resident in Boston. Hah - he still looks that way:D.

The vouchers are usually good for 6 months. I often find one I never cashed and just bring it back on my next trip if it's from a Casino I wasn't planning on re-visiting during the current trip.

Technically, my original go home date was tomorrow, but originally I was going to fly in Sunday, so the bonus days were at the beginning, and I cut a day off at the end, but either way, I got 6 nights in Vegas and it was awesome! I feel like I packed 2 weeks of stuff in to a few days!

I thought about just chucking it in the suitcase, but I only have one trip planned in the next 6 months and if I dont go for whatever reason, that would be a waste. If it was a few bucks I definitely would have thrown it in the suitcase until my next trip.

Yah so, I overheard the FAs and a lawyer ttpe corporate person who got to the plane like quicker than the paramedics, that best they were able to do was a retired cop who was EMT certified, but they also had a facetime type thing with an air nurse on the ground apparently. Technology. Get off my lawn.

Had to walk out to "back 40 parking" again and climb an air stair to get on a minxy smaller plane ride home, but should be on Florida asphalt in 2 hours or less now, at midnight eastern time. Another 9 hour trip with a 3 hour time zone loss makes for a really tiring day. Worst part about Vegas trips!
