my Vegas to LA drive spidey sense says you should be nearing the home stretch,
looking forwards to wrapup thoughts,
or even thoughts on that new Elantra rental.
I was kind of interested in the N-Line hatchback, so of course they dropped it in the US.

 

Also I think you've passed it, neglected to report in last TR, we did actually stop at Eddies World on the way in.
An awful lot of 1 pound bagged candies, which seemed like more than we were trying to get into,
and yes, urinal based video games..
The jerky brand with the stand in there, Jebediahs, IIRC got a .
Also BBQ corn nuts.
If you want more Ty stuffed things, there are plenty there also. A lot.

 

Very fun report! Safe travels and I can’t wait for the next one.

Since I’m staying in that neighborhood, I wonder if Ra Ri can make me a black and black like Nine Fine Irishmen...will investigate!

Got home around 2, after a couple stops. The entire drive from Vegas to the rental car place, including a stop for gas and a stop for lunch, was just over 4hrs drive. Perfect!


The new Hyundai Elantra was a great drive! Smooth, good get up & go, and handled Cajon Pass with ease! I'd definitely consider trading up from my current Elantra, if I wasn't eyeing bigger cars!

Lunch was a quick stop in Barstow. Don't think I've ever stopped in Barstow for any Vegas trip.


Pffft so I found out on one of our Biloxi trips, with @MCann , that Hardee's as it's called in other places, doesn't have chicken stars! What the f, Hardee's? Also, the house ranch is delicious. SO much better than the buttermilk ranch they try to give me sometimes. No bueno. House ranch only plz thanks.


And continued onward, just jammin to Watercolors the whole time - thanks, Sirius!


And then when I went to drop off my car, a squirrel wanted to be my friend!

Oh man @luck.ofthe.draw I just started reading your TR & got to page 3 and thought, I better get my butt off of the couch & pack for Vegas!! I am taking my first trip in forever. I love your food & drink & everything Vegas photos. I have reservations at Jaleo & China Poblano & your pics made me so happy. They are on my "must eat" list every trip. Thanks for the great trip report!

@luck.ofthe.draw awesome report thanks for sharing. I'm always amazed when people get over 30 miles to the gallon, and also when they fit in those tiny vehicles. I think the blue one could fit in the bed of my 2500 pick up truck, of course then I would probably only get 7 miles to the gallon instead of 9 lol. At least it's a 36 gallon tank...

The food pictures are awesome and I think the way you vegas is amazing! Good luck with your move!!
