following along. I've never stayed DT but I really want to. I have a dirt cheap room in September at Aria and nothing in downtown comes close so looks like a downtown stay is not in the cards yet.

I guess he thought the cards weren’t getting blurry enough already. After three baileys and coffee, and two tequila sunrises, I looked at my watch and it wasn’t even 9;00 yet! Way more than I usually drink, but I did start playing this morning around 6:00. I’m still on central time.

what I really like about this game is when the regular 4OK is up past $38, it becomes a positive play, regardless of the Royal flush. This is where I start playing faster. About twice as fast. Which is really cool because I’m starting to see six cards on the deal. That has to be an advantage, right?

Played and played in flame thrower mode. Five minutes......ten minutes......fifteen minutes.....I was starting to get a little fatigued. Then Bam! Got what I was after.

Standard 4OK for a tidy 61 coin bonus!
Almost noon. Closing the morning session out up $200. Time to decompress. About 5k coin in.

Now, an update on points earned.
While I was playing I noticed my points were not going up on the display. I had been playing about 30 minutes. Then I saw this sticker on the machine.
    8F4F81E3-FA64-4BF9-BEC8-4785D0497D1C.jpeg
No points! First thing I thought of was I was going to have to find another place to play. No points was a deal breaker. That would mean no comps or additional FP would be available.

well, after I put my card back in, it gave me an updated score that did show an increase in player points.

So I’m pretty sure it means no ‘tier’ points accumulated on these machines. Not a big deal for me since the only tangible thing the next tier level has is an upgraded room if available. Not a biggie for me.

Now the bad news. We played around $5500 through this morning. Our free play online did increase by $5. Under the old system we would have also received around $11 in comps. Instead, my comp dollars only increased by around $8. That’s sad. So it looks like they have decreased the comps earned on these machines. That’s why this place only gets one day of action from me. My wife and I simply cannot earn enough to warrant extra days play. Now I will reevaluate this because of the larger dinning money on my offer (from $55 to $110, although they did drop my offer of $100 in match play chips). And we did receive an additional $150 for two in match play chips. So I may change my mind. I’m not sure. The comp rate of return is just so small.

just depends on what your game is. Video poker downtown has generally better pay schedules for the quarter player, and room comps are super easy to get downtown.

We've scaled way back at the D. I really enjoy the Vue bar and the BP progressives but the offers just aren't up to the level of other places. I've been with them since they had great VP to where it is now but I'm down to playing when I have an ACG or LVA coupon giving $100 FP for 1,000 points. Offers haven't dried up yet but I'm sure that's coming. I get it, I'm not the type player they really want. I understand but would sure love it if they would put NSUD back in play.
