Hard Rock Tampa...again

I was at Taco Tuesday with a date. It was only 8 miles from Hard Rock. I mean, I had $175 FP from my last two visits (they are very generous with FP) that was expiring, so I figured I may as well use it. My date thought it was great idea.

What I learned, and like about HR, you don’t need to put in any of your OWN money to activate the FP. Just click download, enter your PIN, and the credits are on your machine. You are also able to choose how much you want to download (once you download it, it can’t be cashed out- you have to play through on the machine.)

I downloaded $100 onto $10 WOF in the high limit room. It was a two credit max machine- on my third spin, I hit the second hand pay of my life.

I was paid in under Ten minutes, and used the remaining two spins with nothing.

I moved three machines down to a $10 Double Easy Money machine, and downloaded the remaining $75 FP. Three spins, nothing. I put a $100 bill in, and on the fourth spin: Hand pay #3.
I spun once more while waiting to be paid, and cashed out the $15.

We moved to the VIP room, and each had two free drinks while my date played $5/spin on Zeus.

This is dangerous. I am getting way too used to winning.

After tipping out the attendant (same woman both times) and the cocktail waitress, I walked out +$2,740.

Is this a great Country, or what?

 

Nice hits on free play. I have only been that lucky once hitting a handpay on $50 of free play at Harrah’s racetrack in Bossier City.

It’s alternative, sure, but much more common than most people realize. A lot of people living this lifestyle live in the closet, sometimes due to family, sometimes due to careers, sometimes due to pure shame.

My family is accepting, our careers aren’t in jeopardy, and we certainly have no shame. Love is a limitless resource, and I fully intend to surround myself with as much of it as I can while I’m on this side of the crematorium.

It’s not for everyone, it works for us.

 

Only on the machines. It was a second date, and as nice as he was, this one is a no. I just wasn’t feeling “it.” He also had a single nose hair that was way too long, and it was looking at me all night.

Sigh...

Great work on the WOF! I have some freeplay coming to me at Aria and may search out one of these. I hope to be as successful as you have been, but in the past on the low limit machines I’m like the lowest option magnet when I would actually get the wheel.

 

I laughed out loud at the nose hair part despite being a straight man, I’ve often been part of the “post-bad-date” discussions with women in situations exactly like these, and it never ceases to amaze me what little things men will overlook in grooming or dressing... especially when making a first or early-stage impression. Particularly fingernails... both for aesthetic and “other” reasons, lol.

I guess the bright side is that you’ve now got a bigger bankroll and got some good coin-in on record at this casino, which hopefully you can turn into an even bigger win on the next trip! Hopefully with someone who owns a pair of trimmers...

 

You are showing symptoms of the Gambo-Virus. It doesn’t really impact you until the following year on April 15th. On this date, most people then realize they can’t offset their W2G’s with losses unless they sacrifice their standard deduction which is the best option for most people. For every $1,000 in W2G’s, you should probably set aside at least $300 which will come due upon filing. This is a casino’s biggest headache in trying to keep their high limit slots going without causing players an April stroke. Aim small, hit small or at least under $1199 per hit. You can still have fun and win, good luck.

Thankfully, LH is a CPA, and knows his way around our returns. He warned me off too many more W2G’s....but playing pennies to win dollars has lost its appeal now. What’s a girl to do?
