Sorry guys, I didn't mention these bowls were noodle bowls. It had enoki mushrooms that HoyaHeel likes, plus some oriental greens, ground pork dumplings, and kobocha pumpkin (yum yum!). The noodles were more on the chewy side, definitely had texture.

Just wanted to mention the noodles since you can't see it in the pic. But I'm sure most of you figured it out, lol!

Those crab cakes look awesome, one of my faves when eating out. I can't believe I've never made these at home. Any special recipe?

Thank you! This was my first time making them. After watching them being sold on QVC for so much money, I said let me just make my own. It was easy. And I'm so glad I made them. I followed a recipe from Natasha's Kitchen. Only difference in mine was Cajun seasoning rather than Old Bay. I've made a few of her recipes for something different.

There is a restaurant outside of BWI Airport called G&M, probably the best I've had. They also ship around the country. https://gandmcrabcakes.com/

I did make bagels for breakfast ;-) (Baron bagels of the East Bay, as featured in NYT - this is my 4th time making?) Still uneven at forming bagels ... PXL_20210411_122604399.jpg

Last night was pimento mac-n-cheese, beer-braised Polish sausage and charred broccoli rabe.

Tonight it's pan-roasted halibut topped with shrimp, clam, corn and andouille stew.

Finally used my Air Fryer to make a whole roasted chicken!
Brushed the chicken with avocado oil and lots of spices.
    50 minutes wasn't long enough.....had to add 15 minutes - Monstrous 6 pound chicken.
Crispy crackly skin....gave it all to hubs!
    Very moist inside.

Served with sides of roasted mini potatoes and lemon parmesan broccoli.
Served with a red wine only because I wanted to finish off the rest of an open bottle.
