Who is going in September? I am planning to be there the last day or two of September into the first day or two of October. Nothing is set in stone yet though.

I missed the Superbowl in LV this year. So I will be going for opening week of NFL.

Booked flight and hotel for 1st week of Sept, will wait and see what happens in the world over the next few months before booking anything further that can't be cancelled.

Will be there Sept 9 or 10 through Sept 19 or 20 depending on flight schedules that make sense for me. Have Planet Hollywood suite comp from the 10th to 15th and a Delano Suite comp from the 15th to 19th. Will do Cosmo for any extra days most likely.

Headed to a UNLV game on the 18th (vs my Alma Mater Iowa State). Maybe a Raiders game depending on day and cost. College roommates coming sometime during my Delano stay allowing me tons of time to totally degen alone. Been saving the bankroll for quite some time.

First visit since July 2019 for me.

Iowa State? Too bad they'll be 1-1 for your trip.

    Who hurt you?

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised. We always flounder the first game and then it’s been like 7 years since we beat Iowa. I’m gonna be heavily drinking in a sportsbook somewhere watching the Iowa game.

But fuck the Hawkeyes. If you’re a UNI fan, then I don’t even think about you anymore :shy:

Got hotels booked early September. Starting to look positive on multiple fronts for flights from the UK and many restrictions easing in LV by then.

Will need to see the *ahem* 'demographics' on the ground get a little more savory before making a final go / no-go decision.

Love visiting the US (not just Vegas) and can't wait to plan trips again.

I have room at Aria booked 9/12-9/17. I had looked at changing to hotel downtown. Since Aria is a comp for 3 of the nights and when I booked the other 2 nights were very inexpensive, I am sticking to Aria. I really wanted to stay downtown but now with more people booking the window of opportunity to book for good rates has really narrowed. Still not a done deal if restaurant openings are scarce and at least the smaller shows open and fully functional.

I remain cautiously optimistic of my chances.

I am waiting until May 12 to begin planning my Fall LAS trip. That is when the NFL releases their schedule, and I prefer to be there when the Raiders have a bye or on the road. Yesterday's news about capacity limits and other restrictions being eased points to at least allowing fans at Raiders' games.

Changing things up again. Vegas will probably be out of the picture. Multiple challenges. Getting my grumpy husband on a plane. Our little weenie dog has severe separation anxiety since her soul mate/fellow weenie dog died in February. She has to be with me all the time. She settles for my husband. I’m hoping we get her used to going down and visiting the kids and we will have them watch her for about 3 days. So I need to be closer to home. The plan is now Golden Nugget at Lake Charles. A six hour drive and stay just 3 nights. No rush to the airport. No watching my husband get taken aside and strip searched by TSA for being a dick.

Currently they are mask optional. But by September anything can happen. I just want to sit at a VP machine with a Margarita. I’ve got a nice room booked overlooking the lake. Hopefully earning points with their slot club will help with a stay at Golden Nugget in Vegas later maybe next year. The only thing I dread is Houston traffic- shit. But Buc-ees. There are a few along the way.

I’m still keeping my Aria reservation just in case but I don’t see it happening. C’est la vie.

September 10 through the 13th at Bally’s. For the opening weekend of NFL. Keeping the streaks alive of 30:straight years for that weekend

I am stoked. My September Birthday trip may be back on. With mask mandate lifting I may be able to get my husband to go. I may have to change hotels if MLife casinos don't lift them. I do expect masks to still be mandatory on planes. -- Which is the kicker. I have to play Monte Hall to get my husband on the plane. -- He is the reason I can't have nice things. But I have a plan. He wants to turn our spare bedroom into a cigar lounge equipped with an air purifier and chairs etc. It will cost him. Vegas for my Birthday without bitching and complaining. Plus I will get him comfortably numb/drunk at the airport before our flights. I'm so glad I didn't cancel my Aria room that I got for almost nothing. Fingers crossed.

Going in September and staying at the Crockfords for the first half of my stay and the Cosmo for the second half. Got tickets for 'O' and Michael Buble. Slowly starting to plan some dinner reservations but nothing is set in stone yet as I hope that a couple more restaurants that I wanted to try will open before we get there.

    Nice streak.
We have been to 21 straight years of SB weekend in LV. Streak ended last Feb. Had to make up for it by coming opening weekend.
Sept. 9 - 13th at Ballys. Go Eagles.
