The Las Vegas Sun posted over 20 photos of the new rooms at the Bellagio and Luxor. They give you way more angles than the official ones released in February. It seems that the queen rooms in Bellagio will have an enclosed shower vs the doorless shower in the new King rooms. Overall, like some of the changes although the bathroom is still a bit disappointing.

I really like the Bellagio bathrooms. Wireless chargers are a nice touch as well.

Renders didn't really do the Bellagio reno justice. These shots look great. Looking forward to staying there over Xmas.

As nice as Bellagio seems, I LOVE what they did with the pyramid rooms at the Luxor. Between the great Tower Rooms they already have, the newly renovated Pyramid rooms they’re doing now and the underrated pools, I’d say Luxor, even if MGM doesn’t see it this way, is a mid tier property to me now - and great bang for your buck.

Wonder if they are going to update the penthouse suites as well. Those could definitely use an update also.

Here is the first video I could find of one of the updated Bellagio rooms.

So they ate into some of the bathroom space and built in a little closet where the shower used to be. And no water closet. Toilet still awkwardly in the corner.

The bathroom looks a lot better than I thought it would. I think adding a door to the toilet would have made the bathroom seem even smaller(with the closet taking away some of the size). I would wait before booking a room though since they seem to still be in the middle of the renovation

The living area looks nice. It's the bathroom that's crap. Granted I'm not staying in a Bellagio room, only a suite but still, some people might like to take a bath in a luxury hotel once and a while.

I really love the wallpaper in the Luxor rooms! I booked one of these for my next visit and I’m looking forward to trying out Luxor. Looks like their steak house is trying to reopen too so maybe it will be a go by then.

Ladies getaway, somewhere on the strip with a pool :)

I like how both rooms are looking. Might consider staying at one of the new Luxor rooms just to have been in the pyramid.

I’m still curious what they’ve done to the Resort Tower King rooms. Hopefully they’ve kept the tubs.

As is often the case, stock photos are of marginal use. Who cares what the water glass/bucket looks like? Or a picture on the wall? Or the outside of the hotel? Just pics of the room would be great.

These photos could help sway us toward Bellagio for our 10-year anniversary trip next year, as it was already in the running with a few others but the rooms never really enticed me. I like the new style from what I see in the pics.

Luxor is my home away from home - I'm glad to see them investing in upgrades. Makes me confident that it will be around for several more years. I think about a year ago when the shit hit the fan there were rumors that Luxor might not survive.

Does anybody know if Bellagio will also update its suites?

I haven’t heard any official communication about the suites, although they have said that all ‘rooms’ in the main tower are scheduled for renovation, so I’m assuming that includes the suites too. I’m just praying they don’t remove the tubs from the suites like they did in the standard rooms. I love staying at Bellagio, but having a tub in my suite is a definite dealbreaker!

I was looking to get into a Cypress Suite in September. Especially with the 2 bathrooms, there’s no point in having them both if you’re not going to put a tub in one (as it is now).
