I just spoke with a representative at the Wynn and she mentioned to me that they are definitely enforcing mask wearing while lounging by the pool. I am totally find with mask wearing and will follow the rules. However, when I was there in October they didn't require you to wear the mask while sun bathing in the chairs. Has anyone been there recently to confirm this enforcement and how strict they were? If you have a drink in your hand while lounging will they leave you alone if you look like you are drinking or eating?

Usually this stuff wouldn't bother me, but I'm brining someone who wants to spend the whole day at the pool and I want to make sure I have all my information correct!

    Thank you!

When are you going? Who knows, maybe things will be less strict by then.

Well, you’ll probably have to wear a mask.

from my memory, you can have your mask off at your lounger sun bathing and if you're in the water, but must wear mask when walking around or going to the bathroom and when the server comes by to take drink orders.

And if you're in the water with others, you have to stay 6ft away from others not in you group. the lifeguards walk around with pool noodles to "check"

I was at the Wynn last week. They did require a mask if you were at a lounger and not eating or drinking. There was continual enforcement by the staff.

I am laughing as i recall (saved) the video of March madness at Circa. Management CAN do but maybe the lounging area with one is overdoing; but you give an inch.....:peace:

You might happen to be there on a day where the staff are choosing to turn a blind eye (or too busy to effectively enforce the rules, or whatever) but you're never going to get them to admit to non-enforcement as a policy. Be prepared to wear them.

Very much this. I'm pretty sure Cosmo spins a wheel every morning to decide what they're going to focus on for the day, for example. But masks at the pool is definitely enforced just about everywhere.
October was a long time ago! Most places are pretty strict. I had a cabana at Mandalay last fall, and they required masks across the board, but didn't enforce it at all at the cabanas. Come to think of it, they weren't enforcing much of anything at the cabanas; people in our party were smoking cigarettes pretty much nonstop, which is definitely a no-no on paper.

I agree, but I will say that I didn't actually see them use the pool noodle on anyone. I think it was just an encouraging prop for people to adhere to the rules.

Maybe everyone wears a 3’ radius “circular floatie” and can’t get :nono: closer to others than their 3’ and other 3’ floaties.... I see potential here. Or just go to Circa....they don’t use floaties...

I would like this. I don't want people all up in my space when I'm trying to enjoy the pool. Gtf away from me. :haha:

    No seriously. :noangel:

Is this true for all pools in Vegas? I’m looking at a trip end of April and was looking at Wynn/Encore towers or Aria Sky Suites. I assumed they would spread chairs out, who wants to wear a mask outdoors on a hot day? I’m all for social distancing, but even when dining you can take your mask off.
