I read something about the ticket cost earlier this week, but can't find the article now. My foggy memory thinks it said ticket price was somewhere between $120 and $140

That sounds about right. In "normal" times, they ran same-day promotions for about $100, I think. But, foggy memory here as well.

Last I checked, you would also need to purchase a minimum of 2 tickets as they were using cabaret table seating.

One more question. i clicked the link to purchase tickets and the seating/stage appears different from the last time I saw the show. There's a "stage" area now. When I saw the show, years ago, the stage was small and in the center of the seating. Has this changed with their "permanent" structure?

On the website to purchase tickets the prices start at $149. As mentioned in the thread, you need to buy at least 2 tickets. The old capacity was something like 600 people and when they last reopened I believe it was 150 people and it was all cabaret table style seating. We went in our trip in November before the live entertainment closed down again and it was a great experience.

Probably more about the distancing rules the State has in place to keep performers away from the audience.

Luckily the "moat rule" has now been dropped, so hopefully back to the old setup upon re-opening.

If I go to the box office right before the starts, do you think they will sell me a single ticket? Solo traveler and I NEED to see a show plus I love absinthe. Single tickets are not available "social distancing"

How’s the show during the pandemic

what I mean is, is it just as good as they likely can’t get the audience as involved?

Just saw the ticket prices in the Las Vegas Advisor newsletter where they reported on their annual ticket price survey. According to the newsletter, Absinthe has a four ticket minimum for the thrifty price of $759.50.

That's incorrect. Absinthe minimum is 2 seats. They have various table configurations from 2-6 seats but you have to buy the entire table. Tickets are $150/seat weekdays and $170 on weekends. With all the service charges I would not be surprised to find a 4 seat table on the weekend adds up to $759.50 but you don't have to buy 4.

I have a pair of tickets to see the 4/21 show.

I have a question. Is the present $150/$170 prices standard for this show or have they been increased to reflect the socially distanced audience? Thanks.

the price is definitely reflective of the reduced capacity. That being said, with the cabaret table seating being what it is now, I found it to be worth it. The old seating was very tight and very packed in. Now there is plenty of room between parties. When we went in November we loved it and I will buy tickets for our next trip as soon as they become available for sale for those dates.

I just checked for April 21. Have to purchase either a group of 4 or 5 tickets. No two seat options available.

I would recommend people purchase tickets as far out as possible for any weekend showings of this if you know you are going to Vegas. As so many entertainment options are still closed, capacity is dramatically reduced, and this is one of the most famous shows on the strip, tickets are likely in high demand.
