Not sure why, but JetBlue's prices have gone to the roof. On my returning flight next month, the basic seat is showing a price of $599. That's double what I paid for Mint!

How do I know if I am booking the Mint service where you get your own pod or the one with 2 seats? I am assuming that the layout of the 5 pods on the A321 are all single pods on that aircraft. If I am paying extra for Mint I don't want someone sitting right next to me.

They have cut capacity WAY back. There would normally be 6 to 8 non-stop flights a day between JFK and Buffalo and they are down in April to typically ONE per done and some days NONE. Fares for a 45-minute flight were $300 to $700!!!

So, for the first time, I'm flying Delta non-stop from JFK to Buffalo tomorrow morning. I never knew there was such a thing and there's 4 non-stops a day plus blocked seats through April 30th. I also got a Delta AE card so now I'm trying to get to Silver with spend.

I sometimes think it must be harder for a Jet Blue verses a Delta to deal with Covid-related swings in demand. But, finally light is at the end of the tunnel. I should also say though that Delta One flights I purchased for $480 and about $600 are now $1400 to $3000+!!! And that's for a fricken snack box on the flight!!!

Are your MINT flights for April still good!?

The second and fourth rows usually have single pods on either side of the aisle, for a total of 4 individual pods per Mint cabin. All of the other rows are 2 seats. You have to book 2A, 2F, 4A, or 4F.

You have to look at the seating chart, but 2 A, 2 F, 4 A, 4 F are all single pods. Rows 1, 3 and 5 are side by side seats. Still nice but not singles.

As of today, my April flights are still good and filling up. Two weeks to go.

Thank you as well. I am so glad I asked because I would have been very disappointed if I got on the plane and didn't have my own pod.

Great! High class problems but I wish I were flying MINT rather than Delta One for my upcoming trip. But, I will make the most of it!

I just realized I have the same thing going on.

When is your trip? If it is before mine and you report it all went smoothly, I will not call them.

If it is after mine, I may call.

    That flight is May 7.

I just looked and it's still showing no ticket number in "Manage Flights." I'm not worried about it.

You should ping me the day after mine, because I usually end my TRs a couple of days before I leave.

Hmm. My mint flights in August have changed somewhat, by an hour I think. Now I don’t arrive until after midnight, and I leave at noon. Prices have more than doubled too. Over 1k a seat now! Glad I booked early! Snag those cheap seats if you find them or pick a super unpopular time to travel and try to get an upgrade.

I after 45 minutes I got through to JB on the phone and they were able to switch my flights no charge, no problem. When I tried to do it myself online the site was going to charge me $1600! No thanks!

Has anyone successfully changed a trip twice without cost?

My Mint flight got canceled and I moved iy, new flight was significantly more, they didn't charge me.

But now I need to shorten my trip by 11 days and the flights on my new date are over $1k.

As a general matter if you are changing your flight because of them, e.g., because of a flight change or cancellation by Jet Blue, there are no change fees nor are there increased flight costs, even if the fare is higher for the new flight time.

If you are changing your flight because of changes YOU want to make, as a Mosaic customer there are no change fees and I believe now for ALL customers there are no change fees. HOWEVER, for everyone, including for Mosaic members (I am one) you DO have to play the difference in fare if you are changing the flights because of your own change in plans.
