Just as The Belching Contest was a tradition at Adams College, swinging into the Anchor to grab a Old Speckled Hen is one of mine.

The first attempt didn't work out, but Sonic Youth's 'Tunic (A Song For Karen)' is playing, and that makes the wait to retap not so unbearable.

Go TD go! Bet that you will miss the MS ice storm memories and lack of decent food and drink, this NV trip seems like a walk in the beer park thus far. Enjoy, and keep the posts coming. We enjoy riding along with you!

Too much running around. I would have saved about twenty to thirty minutes on the day if I didn't need that emergency smash at Silverton.

Checked into the El Co...and there's still no place like it. It's only rival might be The Oriental in Bangkok...but they make you wear nice shoes to enter there.

    The Co don't care.

Two beds and at the end of the hall. I'll be pushing these boys together at some point.

The safe doesn't really work. That could be a problem.

This is the reefer cove of the room.

Never thought I would see the day, but we're downgraded to plastic cups now. The high-end clientele must've been stealing all of the fine crystal they provided here for years.
    EC7.jpg
My favorite restaurant downstairs with all of the fresh baked bread and the very freshest of ingredients, straight from the farmlands.
    EC8.jpg
Don't think I'm cheating on the S-Way, but I strolled over to the Carson Kitchen for a late lunch and they always satisfy.

Some bourbon and fig drink to go along wit' the deviled eggs and NY Strip.

Of course, I have to go make a couple of basketball bets, get this trip started and leave for the night.

Hoping you got that safe fixed considering that juicy 7k you had in the envelope. Under the mattress?

I can’t believe someone on this board is familiar with The Oriental in Bangkok. I was there in the early 80s. It was amazing then, can’t imagine what it’s like now. I think I may still have a matchbook from there.

Thanks for the flashback. Carry on.

It was a difficult decision, but given that I had three nights comped at the Chartres Cathedral of Las Vegas (El Co), I decided to splurge and come check out Circa for a night. The Panoramic Sunset Suite.

It's a windy, shitty day. This would be a beautiful view if it weren't for the clouds n'shit.

No bathtub. Bummer for me and my bubble bath bar. I left the rubber mallard in the other room anyway.

Someone get the Plaza some fuckin' roofers already.

My plan for tonight was to gamble until sunrise. I am going to hang out up here for a bit and not take a bath...but bathe relatively thoroughly as I have invited M over for a little while.

I cropped her off because I don't want all of you pervs spotting her on the street one day and interrogating her for no reason. It's an in-room booty-hole show, OK? Don't judge.

    It's very rude.

I loved going to Vegas with random friends/family when I was younger. I love going to Vegas with my wife nowadays.

But your trip reports always make me want to try out a solo trip in Vegas.

I think that's the highest compliment I can pay you.

Also, the kids and wife are in bed, I just cracked a beer and sat down to immerse myself in this trip report. And I'm already caught up. God damn it. I need to start drinking faster and reading slower.

Some people would come over, look at my 6 year old Birthday party beverage and say, , "What be that?"

Why the sun go down behind the mountains so fast? Earlier in the day it was in the middle of the sky.

You know how a dog gets lost in the woods and finds his way home despite being 45 miles away?
    20210323_230439.jpg
    One mission.
    20210323_233129.jpg
Lost $50 downstairs dicking around and lost $200 on the Nets - Blazers O 231 despite the score being 93-92 after 3 Qs or some shit.

    That's hard to do.

I'm supposed to go upstairs to the Legacy Chamber at 1:30 (or whatever the rooftop thing is @ Circa)...it's windy as all hell, though.

I'll go if they make grasshoppers

When I periodically check into these TR's, everyone's going home a winner.

    I'm not winning right now.

I didn't do anything wrong, Jesus. I'm a kind and courteous person.

Edible gummies are not the fifth good group - no matter what you’ve been told in the past. I see my sister this weekend. I’ll put a good word in for you. She won’t tolerate the drinking, smoking, gambling, hound dogging, and all the other Tom foolery. I’m the fun one - I got scooped up fast.

Have fun stay safe and use proper PPE and social distancing please. :wink2:
