My sister and I are going for her birthday on Wednesday and will spend Wed. and Thurs. night at Bellagio. My wonderful host has given me $350/day food credit. We know we don't want Italian food, but we're not opposed to leaving the hotel for a great dinner at another MLife property.
Please recommend other places you like that we'll be able to use the credits.
Also, do you have any experience at Supper Club (I think it's called at Bellagio) or Yellowtail?
Michael Mina (a fave) isn't open yet, don't care for Lago, and don't really want to go to the steak house. Also Picasso and Le Cirque aren't open the nights we'll be there.

    Thanks for your suggestions!
    Liz

With that criteria in mind, I would recommend breakfast and lunch at Sadelles and Noodles at Bellagio. Beyond Bellagio, I would recommend Javiers or Bardot at Aria. Yellowtail is ok. If I am getting sushi at an mlife property, though, I prefer Morimoto and Kumi (not sure if Kumi is open, though)

Bardot gets very good reviews over at Aria. My wife and I ate at noodles 2 or 3 times last trip and enjoyed it a lot. Catch at Aria seems to get very good reviews but I haven’t tried it yet. My current fave at an MGM property is Carbone but you said no Italian. My wife’s is Lago but you said you don’t like Lago. How about Prime at Bellagio? -NVM as @UKFanatic pointed out you said no steakhouses.

I mostly agree (the food was very good when I ate at Catch, but I wasn't a fan of the clubby atmosphere). I thought about Prime as well, but the OP said no steakhouses.

Mayfair supper club you're thinking of. I havent eaten there yet but it has some good reviews on VMB, it's a nice ambience, and theres some entertainment. I will try it one of these days. It's one of the lower prices places at Bellagio of their non quick bites joints.

I like Prime, but sister doesn't really want steak and Vegas has so many wonderful restaurants we get to try something new. We like tasting menus so if you have one you really love please share it! We like everything, from bone marrow to fois gras and artichoke through zuchinni. She is competing in a Spartan race on that Saturday so that's why we don't really want Italian.
rscpa, you mentioned Lemongrass-lots of people list that as a favorite. I'd love to know more about it!
MCann, the host mentioned Mayfair Supper Club, I wonder if it's like Rose, Rabbit Lie, which is great fun and good food.
Guys I really appreciate all your help! Gosh I've missed Vegas.
P.S. Did the owners of Rosemary's ever open another restaurant? That was our most favorite.

I can recommend Mayfair Supper Club. The entertainment is great. I haven’t been to Rose Rabbit Lie so have no comparison. Very talented singers and musical act. Trying to remember typical songs, At Last, Crazy, Luck be a Lady, etc

I like Yellowtail also and Spago.

I think you mean Mayfair Supper Club @Liztoybiz

Bardot, another MMina, at Aria is great. Din Tai Fung looks fun.

I ate at Catch. There were some service issues related to dining solo, but the food was fantastic. I'll return

Fix at Bellagio recently reopened and might be worth investigating... used to be a great menu, but appears to have changed to support nearby sports book

I didn't care for Yellowtail. Spago recently made Eaters list of Vegas bests.

Consider wandering a little further, Bavette's, a VMB favorite is now open Wed & Thu.

For fun on Thurs, Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY

This is annoying. Every place I'd recommend based on what you've said is either closed period or closed on Wed and Thu.

Another vote for Fix. Not sure if the new menu is any good, but it was one of my favorite meals I've had when I went there 2 years ago.

Just looked at the new menu. I recant my statement, it looks...not as good. The "Go Big or Go Home" looks decent, at least.

It's pretty far from Bellagio, but the Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay might be fun?

I'm speculating and hoping that the new Fix Menu is a NCAA thing... will revert in April

It's less loud and a little more sedated. I've sat right outside in the casino playing while stuff is going on inside and I've described it before as less pretentious RRL for grown ups.

Although it's a steak house , their sea bass is the best I ever had.
Tasting menu there is fantastic and a nice value too.

I ate at Catch recently and enjoyed it. We ordered a handful of small plates and the food was nicely spaced to allow us to eat a couple at a time before more arrived. Not sure if that was intentional but we enjoyed it.
