Table Games Bubble craps what’s people’s opinion on these? Random rolls or set to payout

Hi wondering what people think of these bubble crap games....I’m kinda on the fence.... what’s your opinion?

 

They're random.

 

Yeah, the dice are fair just like in a real craps game. They skin you on the payouts, just like in a real craps game.

 

True bubble-craps? Yep - just as random as dice thrown at a real crap-table. They use actual, physical dice.

It's the "electronic dice" that would have be programmed to give results based on the statistical odds.
Avoid tables/games that only have an electronic representation of physical dice.

 

Maybe it's timing, but the last two times I played at a Bubble Craps, I swear the "shooter" went on a tear. One time it rolled 16 times and on another occasion it rolled 14 times.

Of course, I was not participating in the hot rolls. I watched in befuddlement, then inserted a $20 when the point was made, and it proceeded to throw a 3, then a 5, then 7 out.

At Caesars and Tropicana in Atlantic City, the machines do not accumulate points

 

Craps is a random game. But I wouldn't want to play a machine with statistical odds programmed into the system. I'd rather play a machine with real dice.

 

My observation is that generally Bubble Craps is random. But I have seen on occasion, the dice gently rise then land without changing orientation. Because of that when I see the dice on the side of the bubble set at Aces or Midnight, I beef up my bets on small numbers or high ones respectively -- and if I am the "shooter" I press the button as soon as possible.

 

I've wondered about the Interblock machines since the dice just start bouncing, then stop. There's no player initiated launch like on the Shoot to Win machines. I don't believe it enough to stop playing, but in theory the dice could wobble and bounce until a desired sum and then stop.

 

Random! I'm always amazed when people think these machines are "set" to payout a certain way. With Craps you can bet on either side, so if it was set to seven-out more often than random chance then you could make a killing on the Don't and vice versa. It would be Advantage Player heaven!

I'm sure there could be a small possibility of a machine with some kind of mechanical problem that makes it less random, like a roulette wheel that is unbalanced and biased, but this would be difficult to determine without a lot of observation.

 

I play these all the time. Random. Payouts fine. The ones where you are alone with a single set of dice are like crack.

 

I wondered this after the first time I played one and it rolled exactly what I needed to lose like $200 without winning squat. Research determined they are in fact random and that furthermore, it's illegal to control the dice electronically in Nevada on a game with real dice, and that even if it wasn't, it would be almost impossible from a physics standpoint to control them other than continuing to re-roll until what it wants landed naturally, and you can see they arent doing that.

 

They're random, but for whatever reason (probably my imagination) I feel there are longer sessions on bubble craps without a 7 out.

 

Tropicana AC was where I sat down just after the come out roll was made, it made 16 rolls including four 5's, two hardways 8's, three 6's (I always play 6&8). Insert coin, pass line bet, roll 3, pass line bet, make point, roll 4, then 7 out.

 

The maybe 3 times I’ve played this I’ve been on the don’t. Seems exactly like the probability of a real craps table, just none of the fun stuff.

 

You mean that one, where the craps is stadium style, and the dice are to the front right? Know it well. Always a fun time.

 

I agree about the single set of dice being like "crack." Bubble craps is attractive to me as a leisurely way to play craps, enjoy a drink and maybe even smoke a stogie while the dice is rolled only about every 30 seconds or so. But the single dice encourages me to press the button which rolls the dice almost immediately and so puts a lot more action per minute.

 

It's as random as it can be. Most of them have a floor that vibrates to keep the dice moving. You hit the button within a time frame that launces the dice. The dice bounce against the sides and roll into the center where they are read. It's not as random as a true table, but it's random enough.

The game isn't rigged, this isn't a slot. No casino would risk their license to have a fixed game like this. Or if they did, they are idiots and deserve to lose their license. Too much is at stake for the small profit they make on these games.

 

The bigger the dice, the more confident I am that the roll is random, and that's because of the momentum that the dice have, so won't stop quickly. If I were to suspect rigging, it would be with the smaller dice used in the Interblock individual craps.

 

Could not disagree more. We get a crew to take over most of the stations and have a blast.

 

An advantage of the small ones is you control the action, so the timer is not rushing you when cocktails come.
