Now reopen the Wynn buffet so I have an option next month and I’ll be happy but I’m glad that buffets are slowly returning

That appears to be the same model as the 2020 covid plan.

Does that 2 hour limit have to do with Covid...

I think it's mainly because of the limited capacity due to Covid to make sure they can get as many people through as possible. Not sure how many people actually use 2hrs or more though.

I think they had a two hour limit prior to Covid.

yes. I knew several other buffets also had similar 2 hour limit before COVID. I even saw 90 mins limit somewhere.

If they are taking reservations, what is the point of a line pass?

there are other dates. Looks like Thursdays - Sundays only. Sucks that I fly in on a Tuesday and out on a Saturday. Will have to plan my feedings this trip way more than I want to.

I've gone with a reservation and still had to wait in the main line to get to the cashier. The only difference is they put us in a shorter seating line. But I think it's mostly a throwback to when they didnt take reservations, and if someone is still willing to pay it...

Even when we went when 100% reservations were required, they still had the express line for the cashier, and we did have to wait 10 or 15 minutes right behind some obnoxious young folks wearing chin masks and trying to bring in a bottle of tequila, at breakfast. So I suppose you could avoid that?

That's the best news I've heard in a long while. I probably won't be back to Vegas before this fall at the earliest, but at least this is a glimmer of hope that things may eventually get back to normal. I miss Vegas SO MUCH.

If there is a demand there will be a supply, whether it's a profit center or a loss-leader.
