I did verify the waffle house is open, and another Dollar General has been born on Hwy 61.

@martinr I was playing in the HL, just nothing good besides that one quick hits bonus.

 

I guess I don't actually know. I saw cars parked in the drive up spots when I last passed there several months ago, but I suppose that doesn't mean its still in business.

 

We stopped there for breakfast a few years ago on the way out, it took 15 minutes to get the food. First and last time stopping there.

 

Today the plan is to:

• Get off my ass and get in the shower. I told my wife an hour ago I was going to the shower.
• remember to UNTUCK the bottom sheets on the bed so my feet get some room to be under the covers.
• go to Hollywood, I've got a whopping $20 in free play there, and since I'm over 50, if I put 10 pts ($50) on, I get to spin the kiosk for a chance to win up to $500 in free play. I'm shooting for more than $5.
• Drive right on by the Fitz, as those suckers only gave me $15 in free play
• Fill up the gas tank
• return to "Tunica's only MGM resort", dump the keys in the safe, take some flyby to see if the hype is real, the settle in to drink a little and gambo a lot. I think I've got that in the right order
• Stupidly go to the Horseshoe for my $20 free play there
• Come back and gambo some more
• Remember to take more flyby before hitting the bed, and hope that flyby isn't full of something that "wires my brain into high gear"

 

So I did the kiosk. Got $100 in free play
