I don't like to "over Uber" while in Vegas, so I am picking my spots. I am wondering if I should checkout Red Rock or Circa. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I was just at Circa the other day. It's definitely the nicest place Downtown, but besides the sportsbook, I don't think there's much that sets it apart from the Strip resorts. I'd personally go with Red Rock if you have to pick one. That said, that's just my personal preference and neither would be a bad choice.

Isn't Red Rock in Summerlin? That'd be a lot of Uber-ing back and forth between there and the Strip and downtown...

Red Rock is probably the nicest locals casino, but once you're there, what else is there really to see? Maybe there are some other restaurants nearby, but that's it.

If you go to Circa, at least you have the rest of downtown to check out. Granted, you've probably been in all of those places before, but maybe you'll by chance be able to stumble upon a cheap craps table. Heck, when I was there in October (for the Circa opening), the poolside tub at GN was $5 (only double odds though).

Guess it depends on what your objective is. I find it hard to believe that you'll find a cheaper table at Red Rock than the entirety of downtown, but who knows.

Ohhhh, didn't think of the poolside tub & they have to let you in there, if you're gambling, as they can't charge for gambling under Nevada law. Good call, almost forgot about that! Wonder if the GN pool is open this early. Will inquire.

If you go to Circa, what day will it be?

    Two different animals.

As said, Circa is among many other downtown casinos.

Red Rock is a bit out of the way. You might want to check the mileage. And, as said, nice place, but it is a stand along casino.

Monday, March 1st. I have breakfast at Bellagio that morning, then headed out to Fremont.

I would suggest skipping Red rock and doing Circa. Like others said, Circa is close enough to a lot of other casinos and things to do. Whereas, Red rock is a bit out of the way.

Sorry I am missing you on this trip.
