How much is the house edge reduced if the casino doesn’t charge you vig/juice up front when you lay number and only when the 7 hits and you win? I came across this in Florida at the Hard Rock where you can’t actually play with dice and have to play on those bubble machines.

You can lay numbers and there is no commission up front.

Also if you sign up for automatic handpay by yourself jackpot option, it actually makes the game playable since you don’t have to wait for the slot attendants. Admittedly it’s not a great game with only “true double odds” but it’s the best they can do considering they don’t use dice. I for one don’t find the rolls to be that random and it seems very skewed. You either get a ton of sevens in a row, or throw 26 numbers. But it doesn’t seem to be the usual “throw 5-9 numbers, then a 7 is rolled.” Obviously there is law of large number, and statistical anomalies, but playing dice for 15 years I’ve never seen dice act this way and FWIW, I ended up winning a lot too. So not sour grapes, the outcomes just didn’t seem real.

See my anomalies of six 7’s thrown in a row on the come outs. 7’s were thrown a lot in a row on come outs. It was rare to get a point and then have a consistent 7 out. 7’s either showed up heavy on the come outs, or sporadically after 13-26 rolls. Sure this could happen, anything is possible, it just did not feel right.

It’s at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Hollywood right outside the high limit slots. I was making DC, don’t pass, and Lay bets for $500+. The biggest was I had every number layed for $500 (the max) and a 7 would roll several times

nice work, I've wondered about going hard at machine craps, it just seems so much more fun at a real table...
Like the other thread though, could be no hassle don't perfection.

I suppose all those natural come out sevens were while you were on DC?

just IME as a pass/come/place bettor, I can do all kinds of crazy shit for a few bucks and run hard, but if I press it up, the streak doesn't continue. I'm sure it's legit random probably, just confirmation bias.....

Perhaps. I also thought it was strange the machine pays 4.2 to 1 on any seven as opposed to the traditional 4 to 1. Why this was I had no idea. FWIW, I wasn’t playing their big bubble craps machine, but the individual ones with the smaller bowls. I guess it’s confirmation bias, it just seems like the dice did not throw like a normal game. But who knows I guess?

7’s were thrown almost exclusively on the come out which lead me to lay numbers. Id back that up with a $75 DOnt Pass bet so if a 7 was rolled I’d lose the $75 and win everything else. But if a number was rolled, I’d then have opportunity to make back the $500 through the flat bet and the lay bet odds.

They have another craps machine that is on the way to the guitar hotel, but it uses exclusive electronic dice which is bizarre to me. I would love to know how that works and if the machine is set to a hold, or what? That machine “Roll to win Craps” is traditionally used with real dice so they can just have a stickman. But I’ve never seen that machine (nor heard about it) using electronic dice.

Since we're talking about fake dice, I'll add that stadium craps doesn't appear to have a designated shooter, and also doesn't nag you to
    "C'mon, press the button!"

Big Red is the most likely number to roll, but that payoff sure does seem strange.
