    My Trip Report

Before I start, just let you know that I am "A Ham and Egger from West Virginia" and this is first attempt at trip report. Arrived Sunday via Delta from CVG to LAS. I was able to check into the D early because of a great front desk staff. I am on a top floor in the 30's with a panoramic view of mountains. This is first time at the D but stayed years ago when it was Fitzgerald's. Most of Fremont street seems more busy than I expected. They have security guards at entrance that make sure you mask up. I am a frugal tourist that took the CX bus from level 0 at airport to 4th and Carson stop. No problem with having a suitcase and backpack on board. The Fremont casino makes you take off mask at entrance for temperature check before you enter, no one else has done this so far. Since I an staying at the D, they told me I can show pic id and room key for tour of new Circa Casino swim. I asked if that included sports book and they said I could go there also. I will tour Circa Tuesday and repot my opinion. Take it ez. GOLFCADDY1

Second report from trip; I went to Circa sports book and stadium swim today. Circa is awesome as reported earlier in message boards by another member from the big island. There were more staff than customers at both swim and sports book, probably because it was a Tuesday? The Plaza Casino asks for pic id before you enter, the same with Circa. I am staying at the D so did not have to pay to see Circa Swim, if not staying at the D or Golden Gate, admission is 10. I sure miss Main Street Station, it is still closed and staff at B connected had no idea when it will open. Thats all for today, off to bet some long shots at horse races today. Take it ez. Have a good trip! My parents still live in WV. My sister and I both are graduates of Marshall. WE ARE! My dad wanted us to go to WVU, but we didn't.

How was your experience on the CX bus? I'm arriving on Friday, staying at 4Q and The D. I usually rent a car, but the rates are outrageous this weekend.

to Vegas Vick Go to CX schedule for times from and to airport for weekdays and weekends. The WAX bus no longer runs. CX north stops at 4th and Carson. To go south you board at Casino Center by Binion's good luck GOLFCADDY1

Last on my trip report: I lost track of time and did not post on same day. Just some observations from my point of view. The D hotel and casino did a good job to make me feel welcome. The elevators are 100% better than the old days of Fitzgerald's. I flew Delta out from CVG but took Allegiant back to CVG because Delta nonstop back is a red eye. The flight back went smooth and was surprised to be on same flight with Dan and Erin from Clermont County OH where we all live. The flight was on time but the seats are thin as cardboard. Having booked exit row helps with leg room but the seats are not made for comfort. I am not a food snob but for value, I liked the prime rib special at Tony Roma's, the 2 item asian lunch at Lanai Express in the Fremont casino, and for a strong black coffee from McD's right in entrance of the D. This was my first trip report. I sure hope all of you can enjoy the magic and atmosphere that Las Vegas has. It is my favorite city to visit. Take it ez. GOLFCADDY1

Thanks for the report..... The D improved the hotel by converting a service elevator to passenger service, increasing the capacity... That and the "cyber" system on them makes a big difference. I always enjoy the D. Welcome!

Great job on your trip report. I stayed at the D in 2018 and I'm finally getting back there after being deployed for 3 years. What were the table minimums that you saw, specifically the Craps tables.
