I'm not into pools, nightclubs, UFC/MMA fights, and those big outdoor events like EDC, so I have no plans on going to any of them. Although, I won't rule out other things that I haven't done yet. :D

If we're including stuff outside of Vegas, back in my younger days, I wanted to tour Europe and Asia, but now I dread having to take those loooooooooooong flights so I highly doubt either of those trips will ever happen. I'm also not into cruises, so no to them too.

Vegas: Santa Fe Station / Texas Station. I have nothing against these places necessarily... they look like okay spots for relatively unassuming gaming/dining/lodging. But even as the relatively adventurous type, there isn't really anything outstanding about either place, especially with both of them being pretty out of the way. If I'm in the area, I'd happily stop in. But having gone out of my way to check out various casinos from Railroad Pass to the Lucky Club, I can't say I'd do the same for either of those two places.

United States: Disneyworld/Disneyland/Universal et al... aside from the fact that I'm generally not into the themes of these places, theme parks in general are pretty "meh" for me. I can respect that they're geared more towards a family audience, but definitely not for me. Maaaaaybe a Six Flags, since I saw the commercials on TV as a kid. But zero intent of visiting any of the Disney/Universal properties.

World: Venice, and likely ditto for Rome. I'm generally not huge on "tourist" cities, especially those in Italy. I'm sure there are great things to see in both places... but I've been off the beaten path in Italy and have come to appreciate it quite a bit more than the big cities. When it comes to experiencing a town of canals, Giethoorn in the Netherlands looks WAY more appealing by comparison IMO.

The night- and day-clubs. I've done both before, I just have no interest in doing them again. Love EDM but hate densely packed large crowds. Don't particularly enjoy the company of wasted people unless I am one. In my younger days my friends could still twist my arm into going, but now I am a proud buzzkill who will stay at the hotel and gamble (or do literally anything else) while you kids go have fun.

Pinball Hall of Fame, Red Rock Canyon, Clark County Museum, Neon Museum -- all things I want to do. I'm hoping to do the Rail Rider sunset trip in June. -- If we make it to Vegas.

Actually, when we last did a limo joyride, maybe 10 years ago, they would not let us stand up and stick our heads out of the moon roof. He said that it is illegal and he would get a ticket if caught.

I suspect the same limitations might not apply to this outfit...

I’ve never had one of those sugary yard long drinks, don’t think I ever will. :yuck:

I don’t rule out nightclubs, but unless the stars align and some artist I adore is playing, probably no day clubs. Just not into that.

I doubt I will ever do $100 a spin either, not even once. I just can’t!!

    Pssst.... do it! :poke:

For me, definitely the clubs. And the only thing worse than a night club is a day club, or even worse than that, a pool party. Get off my lawn. Where are my reading glasses?

Pretty much every place I stayed/visited when I went with my family back in 2007 (was also a teenager then, so Vegas really wasn't the place for me). Stayed at the Circus Circus with the worst view possible of a trash can and had garbage splattered across our window ( loved watching my dad argue with the front desk and eventually getting us upgraded on our last night to a room with a better view), went Downtown to Fremont Street- nothing bad here just haven't been since I started going to Vegas after that trip in '07, and drove to Hoover Dam & Grand Canyon (great for folks who like exploring/sightseeing but not really my thing). I still vividly remember as we walked over to the Bellagio to watch the fountain shows, and telling myself that one day I'll stay in one of the top most rooms with the balcony overlooking the fountains. Suffice to say I've done that more then once now... :D

Oh yeah, can't forget the half day my family spent in the middle of no where listening to a time share pitch that we only sat through to get free tickets to the Mac King comedy show. First time I had a "real" Pina colada since there was a one drink minimum per person, and the bar tender made all our drinks with alcohol; probably the most memorable part of the trip.

I don't mind little day trips out of Vegas but I have no interest in Hoover Dam. Within Vegas I'll never do a pic with a street performer and I'm not interested in going to male strip shows (female strip shows either, but that's because they aren't my type LOL)

Two things came to mind when I read this thread.

    1. Someone told me something years ago that really stuck with me. When you're laying on your death bed, knowing the end is near, would you rather be thinking about all of the things you never did or all of the things that you did do? I've repeated that question multiple times over the years to countless others. Especially to those in family, or at work, who question mine and my wife's travel frequency. We like to experience as much as possible. So even though we've experienced quite about all there is to experience in Vegas, I can't really say that there isn't something that we wouldn't (legally) do at least once.

    2. A person can't rightfully say they don't like something if they've never tried it. But odds are if you try something that you don't think you'll like you'll probably not enjoy yourself. But that'll give you a good story to tell down the road. That's about how the wife and I feel about the day clubs and night clubs in Vegas. Horrible overpriced crowded experience. Been to about 6 of them once each, all comped entry, no line wait, with two free drinks each. Not worth it, except for the experience and stories to tell.

I still haven't been able to talk the wife into getting in a helicopter yet, but one day.....one day.

Take a guided tour, anywhere. If I'm not free to walk around at my own leisure, hard pass.

On the other hand, I would gladly pay for a guide to help me get somewhere safely.... Like in a jungle.

    Visit City Center.

    Stay at a Strip Hotel.

    Majority of the celebrity restaurants.

All the pools and nightclubs, dayclubs, and stripclubs.

The word "probably" in the title thread is the reason I say this but I can change my mind and I've done so many times in my life.

Anywhere that drinking as much as humanly possible is the main feature. Yeah, I know, there's drinking all over Vegas, but as a recovering alcoholic I try to steer clear of places that's sole feature is high-volume drinking. That's a health thing more than anything. I also avoid certain facilities that are owned by certain people. We'll just leave it at that.

Well, I guess I can add eating at Ellis Island to my list, because I'll never bet able to not think of this quote...
